Tucked away in the hills of San Juan Capistrano, San Juan Golf Course is situated midway between Los Angeles and San Diego. Its location is conveniently close to Legoland, Disneyland, the San Diego Zoo, and miles of sandy beaches. The championship golf course underwent a major renovation of its fairways and greens, making them some of the best in south Orange County. The layout consists of a diverse array of holes that range in length from short to long and some are hilly while others are flatter. Being a public golf course and having a versatile layout, San Juan G.C. is a popular place for tournaments and events. At either end of the course there are practice facilities as well. On the west side you'll find a putting green and sand bunker as well as a chipping area, and on the other end you'll find a grass driving range.

Great Track
This is a great track, challenging with different hole layouts, and lengths. A little bit of everything for the golf enthusiast. Great clubhouse and proshop, food is awesome and staff is attentive and helpful. Don't wear jeans, Ray will throw you in the water!
This course has a good layout with many elevation changes.
The greens were just arrated the day before, but putted fairly fast and relatively even. The pass of play was 3and a half hours, and food and beverages fairly cheep. What more could you want.
fun course with challenging greens
Fun course with few flat fairways The greens are big and challenging. Its a a fun course. It's great exercise if you walk it - long with many hills. Sunday play was slow.
This course is overpriced and requires attention.
Despite reading some positve articles about this course, the experience was completely under-whelming. The greens are reasonable, but the tee boxes and fairwarys are in desperate need of attention. We paid $60 each to play this course and felt absolutely violated. The pro shop staff agreed that the course is overpriced but management won't change their practices.
Solid course, sometimes plays slow
Good value for your money. Is fairly easy from the whites and a bit more challenging from the blues. At times pace of play is slow, but unless you're playing a country club, that's going to be any course on a weekend. It's easily accessible from the I-5.

Good local club, friendly personnel, course is usually in very good condition at a good price.

San Juan Hills Golf Course is a great value for the money.
The staff in the pro shop, golf cart, and cocktail lounge are exceptional. This is now my favorite local course!!
