Fun Course
Great improvements. Will start playing there more often now. GPS in carts good and accurate. But not a big fan of the cart automatically shutting off in areas that should be fine to drive in. It was really good to see all the greens grew back in nicely
Improvements Are Arriving
I’ve always loved this course mainly because it’s my local course and gotta support it.
The greens a couple of months ago were under repair because let’s face they were terrible truly terrible.
But as of July 11 the greens look better than I’ve seen in quite a long time. They look amazing. I played early morning solo and flew through the course had an awesome round. Got behind a 4 some and they let me jump ahead with no issues.
The staff are becoming friendlier every visit it seems which is good. The grill is my next stop to see how good the food is because the drinks were definitely good.
Be back soon
They are putting in the work!
I’ve played this course off and on for years. I can tell they are really putting in the effort to improve this course. The tee boxes and greens are just as good if not better than others in the area. The lady at the check in counter and the attendants in the cart barn were extremely friendly. My only complaint is that the bunkers are in rough shape. However, considering the improvements everywhere else, I wouldnt be surprised if they get those bunkers straightened out sooner than later. For a course like this, the price was more than fair. I plan to be back soon!
Temp greens
The course was great but they had temporary greens in the fairway on like 5 or 6 holes which absolutely sucked to play on. Great course otherwise.
Course is ok
four of the 18 holes we couldn’t putt because the greens were made on the fairway in front of the actual greens. I know they would be better eventually but just kinda gave me a bad first taste about the course.
Haven’t played here in a while
Decent course, traffic was backed up. Was hit into on a par 3 due to impatient 4 some.
Challenging course temporary greens
This is a fairly challenging course with somewhat narrow house-lined fairways. There were about 8 temporary greens that really detracted from the play.
Course getting better
Like this course. Fairways are in good shape. Half the greens are temporary now as the greens are being repaired. Doesn’t look like it will be too long before regular greens are ready. Nice layout and pace of play good.
Check-In
Nice Course. Personnel has an issue. Arrived 1040hrs for a 1100hr Tee Time. I was informed by Clerk that they didn't open until 1100. So I sat in the Atrim waiting but I can hear and see him checking in other Golfers and issuing them their cart keys. Not once did he offer to check me in or issue me a key. When I called him out on it 1050 hrs., he got all defensive and stated those Golfers on the #1 Box were members. If they don't open until 1100, why are they allowing Golf Now Players too book those Tee Times when their members take over the Tee Box. I was the ONLY golfer of my nationality there and he checked-in and issued keys to all others without affording me the same opportunity when I arrived before them.
8 greens not available
Had to hit to a flag stuck in the fairway in front of 8 greens. Were not told of this when tee time booked. had an 11:00 tee time, and we went about 5 minutes early. a staff member came out at 10:58 and told us we should’ve went early . We asked do want us to go back to the tee and rre-hit, she said no, go ahead… just left me scratching my head… drove all the way down at 10:58… seriously?
