Improving - Not Great Yet
This course has struggled over the last decade to stay in great condition. Lot of the bunkers need sand and less gravel, cart paths need improving (actively doing so now, only 9 holes are open), greens more sunlight, but due to legality reasons with wildlife management/epa they aren’t allowed to cut down some trees. However, the hurricanes have helped clear a good bit, and the course is actively getting better. Greens are slow, but have consistent speed - just not quality due to sunlight needs. The course has changed management a few times over the last few years, but it is absolutely recovering from lack of management in the past. City of Rincon seems to be actively investing in their public amenity, and I do enjoy playing here. The bar/grill is great, reasonably priced and located, but there is no beverage cart. If you can catch this golf course for anything less than $40 these days, it’ll be worth considering. Less than $30, take it. Less than $20 (very common during weekdays), SNATCH it.
Reconstructing first 9 holes
Can only play the back nine holes. Needs to shows this on Golf Now to inform players. Paid for 18 so I just played the back nine holes twice.

Lack luster
There was no notice of the range being closed and only 9 holes being available, but still charged full price.
Greens are rough
Nice Course but 9 Holes Closed
All was well except we had no idea 9 holes were closed when we prebooked on TeeOff. There was no disclosure on the website which limited and slowed play. Apparently this will be the case until Spring 2025. We would have considered other courses had we known. I blame TeeOff for the miscommunication but everything else was great including the restaurant!
Much Improved!
The greens are rolling nicely again! One of the best values in the area. But y’all stay away. I like the pace of play the way it is now.
Always enjoy playing this course
Driving range is very nice never feel rushed. The course is always well maintained. We always play during the week and have yet to be pressured or rushed. Very relaxing round of golf.
Great value for play
As a woman that golfs by herself often, this course was great! Overall course was in great shape. Nice facilities inside and out. The grill was well stocked. Pro shop had nice merchandise. Had to play smart on several holes but most were nice wide fairways. Will definitely be back again!
Lost Plantation Golf Course
I always enjoy this course, except for hole 11 which is a mess. They need to work on repairing the tee box as it is just a mud hole.
The overall drainage is not great in some fairway areas but overall the course is very good and a joy to play.
Greatly Improved
Everything is probably best shape I’ve seen course in. Tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens fast and consistant. Job well done !
