Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

It is good in general
Green condition was ok.
Fairway was perfect condition so I had to move in some point .
Definitely say it is unique outline. But narrow .
Waiting not golfing
This course has an awkward layout that slows the piece of play. Start and let people out at a normal course rate but the results in mostly standing round and not golfing two or three groups on every tee box never again.
Good condotiom
River view always fun course. Tight fairways and fast average speed greens. The riverbed is almost always in play. Hit em straight or plan on scrambling all day.
A Fun place to golf
Good fun place to play and challenging with uphill approach shots narrow fairways. Overall good for the money.
Dangerous and Awful
The worst course I’ve ever played, terrible conditions and my cart looked like it was hot wires. Golfers and tee boxes and greens are way to close to each other and it causes a lot of dodging out of the way of wayward shots. Someone is going to get killed on this course.
Mediocre
The greens are the greatest asset at this course. It’s a very challenging course which is why the pace of play is not great (many people spending time looking for their balls or trying to fish them out of the river that is the main hazard at this course). The fairway conditions are not great with many bare or burned out patches. The fairways are also very tight. There are homeless encampments nearby or on the banks of the river near the bridges.
Waste of tine
The pace of play is horrible, as is the overall condition of the course and facilities. This place needs a major overhaul.
The second tee box is a target landing area for errant shots from the first tee box. Our group, which was waiting for 2 groups in front of us saw several balls cone our way. When our group was up, there were 2 balls that landed within 10 feet of where we were standing, even with net guarding the 2nd tee box.
Stay away unless you’re in a pinch for a cheap round.
