Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

Beautiful Challenge
This course is growing on me! Played it on 6/16 and it was in GREAT condition! The boxes, fairways and greens were all in great shape! It's not a super easy course, some of holes are very challenging, but that's what makes it unique!
My only 2 complaints: Tried to buy a hotdog at the turn (5:30ish) and they had no food :(. And why pull the pins at 7 when it doesn't get dark until 8:30?
Grest value for your money course
We play here a few times a year and are never disappointed....except that they still do not have a liquor license. Other than that, no complaints. 4 hr round, everyone had a birdie with many birdie chances. Hightly recommended.

Tee times are very convenient
As a father of 2 it’s hard to find time to get out and swing em. River view offers the earliest tee times for solo+ golfers to get a quick round in at an affordable price

Greens excellent. consistent but not too fast which I like.
Tees pretty good.
fairways always close cut which means all shots will roll to the river. Have to play for that.

Pace of play was very acceptable.
Course was challenging but not unfair.

I think it was $55 for a Sunday 1215 tee time.
Pace was amazing considering day, time and weather.

Oh! The carts would occasionally freak out if you got sort of close to green. It’s a little too sensitive in my opinion. That ls my only problem.
good Saturday pace
The course was in better than usual shape with good greens and fairways not burned up.. The pace of play on a Saturday was the pleasant surprise--got around in 4 hours.

One of the worst courses I’ve ever played Horrible conditions horrible lay out three foursome’s waiting for tee box no Marshall no windshield on the carts never seen that before only view of the city of some homeless people
First time
Hard to find a round of golf for value here in OC, but River View is just that. Fun layout once we figured out where to go, decent greens, and friendly staff. Will be going back
