Tahoe Paradise Golf Course
About
Situated within the woodlands of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Tahoe Paradise Golf Course has a hilly landscape covered with towering pines. This short, tight golf course is filled with challenges including tight, narrow fairways and smooth, fast greens. The fairways are also lined with trees and thick cuts of rough and some of there is an occasional sloped green. Tahoe Paradise Golf Course's par-4 holes are said to have severe dogleg fairways and water hazards come into play on two holes. The picturesque scenery provides a relaxing break from the challenges of the golf course. One of the most scenic holes is the par-3 14th with a spectacular view of Mt. Tallac and the surrounding peaks.

Slow play makes round less enjoyable
Had a 3p tee time and the start was timely. Unfortunately that is the only time it was on pace. After 4 hours and only on the 14 hole, we left given there was no way we would finish with the sun beginning to set. Where were the marshalls to keep the pace up? First time not seeing them. Yes there were many foursomes but the speed of play should not have been on a 6+ hour pace.
We will definitely be back because we like the course and the views of the mountains but will get a first tee time if at all possible going forward.
This course is well maintained with scenic views
Enjoyed the course surroundings and layout.
Pace of play was quick and staff was friendly.
great short game features, particularly the par 3's.
FRIENDLY STAFF
We had a lovely afternoon golfing. This course is a par 3/4 course only. It can be tight in some places so need to choose your club carefully. Greens were fun. Lots of breaks.
Not a great selection of food or drinks so don’t think you’ll have lunch before or after unless it’s a hot dog you desire.
Staff were very friendly and very helpful.
Fun course
Too expensive for what you get when you book right at the course. Great deals on Golfnow.
Nice little short course
A fairly short course ideal for beginners, but kind of fun for all level of golfers. pace of play is very good. Just a fun course when you are not real serious.
Fun course
People are very friendly on the course and staff are great enjoy playing on well manacured course greens were awesome. Will play again.
Great deal with the Hot Price !
We had an afternoon to kill in Tahoe, and found an outstanding Hot Price, so booked it. We did have a "walking rate", but figured no problem since it's an executive length course. Have passed this course for years, but never stopped to play it until yesterday, as the rates are usually very high during the season (we played just after Labor Day)
The pluses (besides the hot price): easy to walk, .nice views, grass was in good shape, several challenging but fun holes.
The minuses : overall slow pace of play, greens in inconsistent/varying shape, very tight layout on a few holes, with trees coming into play on the majority of holes, especially on your approach shots.
Overall had a good time and would return if I can get similar great Hot Price.
mountainous fun
My golf buddy and his family could not join us as planned for a week in Lake Tahoe so I booked the least expensive course for my wife and I to play. She hardly plays at all. I expected a glorified backyard golf course. What we got was a well maintained mountain test. Its beautiful with snow capped peaks all around and 7000 feet elevation. The ball does go farther. Most of the holes are 250 to 275 yard par 4s. Your best off using irons off the tee. Think of 17 and 18 at Augusta with those drives between the trees. I don't hit it that straight. (even though I mistakenly tried.) The greens are in good shape with extreme slope so keep it under the hole. I would now bring my golf buddy here first but still play one of the longer courses in the area.
Great course
Playing this course repeatedly really makes it a more fun course to play. I would say a tough course for a first timer. Some tough t-shots with some nice long distance drives. Good mix of everything here.
