Lake Tahoe Golf Course stretches across a grassy mountain meadow, surrounded by the High Sierras, just minutes from the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Golfers can enjoy spectacular views of the mountains and the upper Truckee River. The golf course has a varied landscape of rocky mountains, native wetlands, and forested parkland.

Good value and slick greens
A great SLT golf value without diving into the Carson Valley. Slick greens with some strategic challenges getting to them. POP needs some serious improvements.
Fun mtn course!
Course is in very good condition. Greens are running fast & true. They have no ladies tees so it is not fair for the women. The silver tees (which are the shortest tees) are mostly next to the black tees. Give the girls a break!
On time
We had a 2:40 tee time. We arrived and there’s a hour or so backup cause by frost delay and a full tournament playing. The staff work hard to keep up on times. They did. We went from hour wait to just 10 minutes. Sent players of front and back to clear time up.
Great Course
We love playing this course when we visit Tahoe. Beautiful setting and they have done well to condition the course after the last bad winter.
Love the Views
Wonderful day beautiful views too bad back was not up to par, but, surroundings made it palatable. Would definitely play again.
Good course but pricey
Was able to get a deal for a single tee time on GolfNow, but rack rates are very pricey due to proximity to South Lake Tahoe. Fun course though.
Lake Tahoe Gem
This is one of my favorite courses to play. Course is challenging but fair. Not too hard for an average golfer to be challenged but not overwhelmed. Overall course condition is good with maybe a little work needed on a few tee boxes. The scenery on the course is always beautiful and if it didn’t slow the pace of play, I’d love to spend some time fishing the stream on the back nine. I always want to put my pole in my bag but I’m thinking the Course Marshal might not appreciate that.
Can’t wait to come back
