Legends Golf Club

We had an 11am tee time, but we were allowed to start sooner, because of availablitly.

Pace was perfect. In fact, there was a two-some playing the front tees behind us and we ultimately let them play through. Other than that, we were never rushed, nor had to wait.

The only downside was the course conditions. The course seems to be under repair still. There were many spots on the fairway that were saturated and muddy. But nothing that was unmanageable. (hence the 4-star rating for course conditions).

I would definitely play here again.

One of my son and I spent a belated Fathers Day golf at The Legends and had a great time. Well, at least, I did. It was a bad day for him, but that's golf. In any case, the course was challenging for a high handicapper like myself, but the course made you think of each shot and strategize an angle of attack making it enjoyable for us.

The course was in good condition, a few greens were being repaired. The pace was good, but could’ve been better had there not been two foursomes playing together. Staff were very friendly. Overall had a good time with my sons and would play here again.

Challenging course with great pace of play on a Friday. Fairways and tee boxes could be in better shape but greens were nice. Nice staff and good food and a beer after the round at the restaurant We would play here again.

I had the pleasant opportunity to play at LEGENDS golf course in Temecula CA. Such a great course. I played with Bill who had played the course before. He kept me out of trouble.

Many side hill lies. (I came home to my son in law and told him about this course)

The greens were to very good shape, but the greenside sand traps had no sand. They were as hard as a rock. Would not go again and I've played this course probably 40 times.

Overall, the course was very nice. The tea boxes were very rough and the sand traps were hard packed sand if at all.

Beautiful views. The greens were nicely kept. Most of the tee boxes were nice. A couple of the tee boxes were a bit chewed up. The fairways were nice and a bit dried up. But overall a great experience. The club house has a nice bar and dining we had a panini. It was a generous portion. Would love to go back.

This is the fourth time I have played Legends, the greens had just been punched and sanded, which made them a bit un-even. They should be much better after they are rolled and cut. Some of the off fairway rough was really thick.

We played as a twosome, no waiting; moved right along and finished in about 3:30. Great staff and we were able to get food at the turn, without anybody coming up behind us. Enjoyed overall.

The tee boxes were terrible big holes and hardly any grass. The bunkers were concrete. If you were not in fairway you lost your ball a foot off fairway in weeds. The greens although punched 9 days prior could’ve been cut as they were furry.

Reserved the time as a hot deal, only to find out the greens had just been sanded and was accepting twilight rates. I paid more as a hot deal and got cheated out of what I thought was a good value.

Golf Now was not aware that the grounds were being treated. We had to play the front nine twice and all and all greens had sand on them.

Needles to say it was a lousy day to play at
