Fairways, bunkers, and rough are horrible.

Greens were very soft and helped with my 3 birdies.

They need to spend some money on gardening/landscaping and the course will be nice.

Nice area and a decent course. The biggest concern was the lack of services on the course (no water services or cart services on the course itself). Bring or buy plenty of water or any other beverage before you tee off and they provide the cooler.

Been awhile since I played The Legends. I organized a tournament here in 2019 which went very well and players liked it. Am planning another tournament for May and strongly considering this course again.

Love the pace of play, the layout is fair, the greens are true and at a medium pace, weekdays easily under 3.5 hrs. Do a few tee boxes need touching up, sure. Could the bunkers need sprucing up, also a sure. But overall for the price to me it’s a solid 4 star rating. Beware of the fire ants thou!

If you are playing in the Temecula area and paying less than $80, you aren't getting great golf. This is no different. The range mats are WAY overdue for replacement. Until then, they need to at least steam clean them. No bag service. No ice in the coolers.

Star ratings 1-5 (5 being best):

Tee boxes - 2.(uneven, chewed up, weeds)

Fairways - 3 (weeds everywhere)

Greens 1 (diseased)

Hazards - 2 (disgusting)

Bunkers - 1 (mostly dirt)

Rough - There isn't any...just weeds

We’ve been here quite a few times and usually left happy. However, this time around there were quite a few issues. Number 1 that needs to be addressed immediately is the ant problem, I left with what we guessed are fire ant bites all over us. There were ant hills littered throughout the course, it’s time to get someone out to spray and take care of this. During play I looked down to see my shoes and sock line covered in fire ants. Secondly is the green conditions which I’ll give a pass on because during non-summer months here the greens are always in great shape. Do something about the ants!

Good Course...From what I hear it is coming back from being down. We played as a TWOSOME, finishing the front side in 90 minutes. Looking for a few balls due to being unfamiliar with the course. One plugged in a the mud...I showed up an hour early and starter let us go forward when the other player showed up. Even let us take a single cart each. Run into groups at final Par 3. Good day and will return

The place is a great course for good players. For intermediate and beginners it’s a little tougher. It has a lot of dogleg lefts and all of the tees except for the far back tees (for good player) are pretty much destroyed and torn up. The fairways aren’t in the best condition and are super bumpy you’re better off using only the cart path and just walking all the way to your ball.

On the upside it has beautiful scenery and lots of par 4s and some par 5s which give you a chance to use the driver on most wholes. All and all a great course. It might be a touch better with a little course maintenance.

I normally don’t write these type of reviews, but this course should not be charging people $70. At most $40. It really was in a horrible condition

Nice course, friendly staff. Pace of play can sometimes be slow, especially on weekends.

First time playing Legends and was a bit skeptical on conditions.

The first two holes did nothing to calm those nerves.

Beat up tee boxes. Burnt out fairways.

But holes 3-18 were pristine.

The only complaint I have is that all of the bunkers could use a refresh of new sand. I was playing all bunkers as ground under repair as it was essentially hardpan in each of them and you could only pick the ball off the hardpan, you could not play a proper bunker shot. No need to be double penalized because of course conditions by risking a flyer or skulled shot due to the condition of the bunkers....some of which had significant lips.

Pace wise it was great.

I got the original 18 holes finished in 3 hours playing as a 2-some. The course wasn't empty and we had people in front of us but everyone was moving.

We got around so fast that I opted for a replay and get the second round in just 2 1/2 hours!

Snack bar was expensive. A quarter-pound hot dog is $8.00 so passed on that. A Coke Zero was $3.50.

I've always enjoyed this course. It's not too long. has a good layout and decent conditions. Pace of play was great. Great value. Greens in great shape. Fix other people's divots cause a lot of beginners must play.

Driving range is not bad, practice green is great, tee boxes good, fairways pretty good, bunkers are garbage, greens are great! Great pace of play, always windy in the afternoon, freindly staff, friendly people, pretty darn good course. Love playing there.
