Legends Golf Club

For the price point one of the best courses in so cal region. We drive up from El Cajon since most of the s d county courses are either to busy or overpriced. My only qualm is some of the tee boxes need some some sprucing up but overall can’t complain.

The course is in very bad condition - tee to green.

I've played Legends about a dozen times over twenty years and this was the worst shape I've seen. Everywhere was patchy, even for the greens, which were wounded by inconsiderate players that don't fix their ballmarks. The bunkers were horrible, overgrown with weeds and lack of sand. Tee boxes were the worst, uneven and mushy. I'll stay away from Legends for the time being.

Fun course. Worth the price if you can get a hot deal.

Staff were excellent and pace of play outstanding! Is a public course that is well waters and green. The greens held the ball. The nicest public course I have played on So Cal.

Very challenging course with a few water holes very good condition great pace of play I would definitely recommend this course and I will definitely be back and I live in San Diego and I drove there 60 miles.

Fun course. Conditions were pretty good. Price is fair. Overall one of the better courses in that price range for sure.

We were really excited to play this course. The entrance and golf shop/ clubhouse is beautiful. Decent range and putting area. That’s where our enjoyment really ended. Conditions on course were nothing short of awful. Tee boxes filled with divers deep enough to be their own bunkers, fairways dry and bald and greens overwatered. The course layout is is awesome but with the conditions of the course, we couldn’t enjoy it completely. Redhawk Course a few miles from here is a much better choice for this price point

Nice course, tee boxes are a little chewed up on some holes.

Avoid this course at all cost. They miss booked our tee time for the wrong amount of people then had to give away our tee time and change it to try and get us out there. We thought about leaving but gave it a shot. There was 5 somes in front of us and took us over an hour to get to 3 holes. We were on pace for over a 6 hour round. We left due to this awful experience and the customer service from legends said too bad. They made zero effort to accommodate us for the mistake THEY made and horrible experience we had as a result. Sad because we were hoping this would be a consistent place for us to golf. Will never be coming back.
