Legends Golf Club

The tee boxes were all beat up. Fairways were dry, a lot of dirt!

Greens were well maintained and hard.

The staff was not helpful . Also, I booked the tee time thru Golfpass and they would not give me the senior rate stating that their boss was not allowing it!

I suggest, Golfpass adds a selection to booking the tee times for senior rates. It’s bad enough the clubs raised their rates drastically and now we can’t even get senior rates!!!!!!

My buddies and I decided to play at this course for lack of any acceptable available courses to play in the area. We looked forward to a fun filled day of golfing and fellowship, but alas, we were disappointed.

We were following a foursome of two guys and two female golfers who were fairly slow. We didn't mind waiting, but when you see golfers hitting two bells on a Saturday, that is a major game delay factor.

Then, there was a lone golfer who was allowed to tee-off solo behind our group. To hasten play, we allowed him to pass our group after a few holes, but he also caught traffic following the 2 guys and the 2 girls.

Then, the group that followed us was a bunch of beginners, who hardly knew about golf etiquette, who kept on hitting balls while our group was still within range, and they did not even shout Fore! We almost got hit by stray balls a couple of times while we were still on the fairway.. A few holes later, we told their group about golf etiquette and that they should not hit their shots while other players are still within range, and that they should at least shout Fore, after hitting an unintended shot.

Instead of apologizing, they said that the group following them was also hitting balls while they are still within range!

Such a scenario bespeaks of tee times mismanagement. It also highlighted the need for game marshalls during weekends, who should have monitored the pace and conditions of play.. That round of golf turned out to be such a stressful round.. Never again!

Great course design but greens were spongy and slow.

I'm giving the "off course amenities" a 5 star rating. Although the snack bar menu is limited, the staff makes up for it by being so darn nice! Our turkey & cheese on sourdough, deli-style, sandwich was excellent as well!

Course in good shape greens are in great shape a little slow right know on the greens.

Why are 6 people with the same tee time at 1 pm? No starter. I understand there was a tournament earlier but pace of play was horrible. Had to finish back nine playing best ball cause it was getting dark. Finally finished a few min past 6 pm. I understand it was on a Saturday. But it looked very lightly staffed.. whomever runs this place needs to figure it out quick.

Could be a great place and during covid people are looking to get out. Just a bit run down but hopefully they will spruce it up.
