Legends Golf Club

The condition of the course needs some work. There were lots of dirt spots. The laid-out was challenging if it was your first time. Local knowledge is always helpful. The green was a little fast probably due to windy weather. Is a fun course to play for the $$.

I like getting good deals when playing golf and this course is worth it. Long par 3's and course with lots of elevation gave the course some challenge but still fun. I will play again at good rates.

We played this course about a year ago. What I remembered was a challenging course in great condition with excellent staff. We made the long drive to Temecula last week (01/09/2021). The staff was still very friendly and helpful. The course layout is still fun and challenging. What happened to the fairways and greens? There are large dead dry sections with muddy spots. The greens were fast and a little bumpy. The bad thing is that the greens have trails where the mower is leaking fluid. The bunkers cannot be called sand traps because there is no sand, just dirt. Either my memory is shot or the course conditions have deteriorated quite a bit in a year. Did the course get COVID? I’m going to check reviews before I play here again.

This was my first time playing The Legends and I was greeted warmly by the pro shop staff and starter. I was able to walk rather than ride, and I was paired together with other players to make a friendly foursome. We went off of the back nine to start because of a frost delay and 10 is an awkward, uncomfortable hole from the tee for a first-timer. Speaking generally about the course, it was not in very good condition, but some of that was expected for a round played on New Year's Eve. Many tee boxes were furry and patchy. There were muddy and G.U.R. areas in the fairways. But the greens were receptive and rolled true. Each of the par 3 holes is demanding, but somewhat similar and doesn't create much variety in club selection. But each of the par 5 holes was unique and offered different risk/reward challenges. The course features an interesting layout and in peak season or with a little bit more care and maintenance would surely offer one of the better experiences available for a public golfer near Temecula.

First time playing Legends and must say it’s a nice track. The Starter was super friendly and gave us tips about the course. Grass is dormant but that’s from not over seeding the place. I’m sure in summer and spring the place is magnificent. Highly recommend to play here.

Fairways and tee boxes we not in great condition. Greens we in good shape. Round took almost 5 hours.

Outside of the green on hole 8, all of the greens were in really good condition and played very fast! The fairways were not very well kept and it looked like they have had irrigation issues or have not taken care of the grass that well. The course attendants were very friendly and accommodating. Overall I would recommend this course, I feel like it would be in better condition and worth the price in the spring and summer.

This track has seen better days. In need of some serious maintenance. Fairways pretty spotty with lots of dead spots and crappy lies. Tee boxes are 50/50 with finding even area to tee it up. Bunkers were terrible but with covid rules somewhat to be expected. The bright spot was the greens. Overall nice shape and good pace lots of break and rolled pretty true. Not worth the 63 bucks. Starter was very friendly and helpful. Don’t expect the course to resemble anything like you see on their website at this time.
