Legends Golf Club

Greens were good, tee boxes poor, fairways and rough not pretty but playable. Good value.

I am below average golpher so on this course we play ball in hand as it’s like a cow pasture.

I used to live by this course 4yrs ago and knew what to expect.

At check in I asked the gentleman behind the counter what condition the course was in. I should’ve known by his response that it was horrible. He said they had water issues months ago but he “thinks” the course is okay now.

He couldn’t have been more wrong. My wife and I played the 1st hole, terrible! We hit tee shots on 2 and picked up our golf balls and left. Weeds on the tee boxes were 6” tall, weeds in the sand traps were worse. I wish I could attach pictures here.

$77/ea. you couldn’t pay me to come back.

Before you think I’m just some disgruntled complainer I can assure you this is the only negative review of anything that I’ve ever given.

This facility is nice which makes this even worse.

This was the poorest condition I have ever seen this course. Many bare spots in rough and fairways. The bunkers were in terrible shape. Most bunkers both green side and fairway bunkers were full of weeds. Some to the point they were unplayable. Greens were in good condition but played very slow. It was sad to see this really nice layout in such terrible condition. I will not be back until things improve.

Nice layout, not too long. But course conditions not good in parts of fairways and tee boxes in rough shape.

Played this course last summer didn't want to go back because of the hard bunkers. During raining season they are not too bad. But when it's 99 degrees they get very hard and all the bunkers had weeds. The new starter was a bozo, seems odd because the other starters are great guys.

Our round started off with the starter, Bill, treating us awesome and really made us feel at home even though we were late (temecula morning traffic) He did a great job and gave us a few tips about the course. We had a great time.

if you have a kid trying to play golf. i would suggest go to other surrounding golf courses, temecula creek inn, redhawk golf course and cross creek golf club. your child will have more memorable and positive core memories than going to legends. you can thank this review later

The Legends Golf Club at Temeku was a fun course to play. The Pro Shop and staff were very friendly and made the round of golf pleasant. The greens were in good condition and course was had some great views.

Though I got a deal through GolfNow. This course is fairly pricey and was not as nice as I thought it should have been. The layout was good but I was very unimpressed with the quality of the greens and the horrible hard packed sand in the bunkers. For the price, they should spend some money on good quality sand instead of the hard dirt-like sand in the bunkers currently. However, the staff were very nice and professional and for that reason I would probably play there again but only with a discounted deal.

A lot of the tee boxes are in really rough shape. Fairways are decent mostly. Most of the greens are pretty good but many had some good sized areas that need to be repaired. The bunkers are absolutely terrible with most having no sand at all and grass growing throughout them. The price was decent for a weekend. Hoping they continue the improvements as many of the prior reviews were terrible.

This course was honestly pretty great. The greens a pretty much fully recovered and played great. Fair ways were nice and the multi tiers made the greens fun and challenging. Food was excellent from the bar and the range and practice area are among the better in the area. theirs a nicely kept chipping area with a small bunker to practice out of with legit sand. If there could be anything negative to be said about the course at all, it would be that the sand in the bunkers was definitely not ideal, especially compared to the perfect sand in the practice bunker they gave you. All around. I would definitely choose this course over some of the other local ones, especially at its price range
