Legends Golf Club

I’ve played here a few times and am always left thinking how much potential this place has. The facility’s are good, the staff is amazing, the food is great but the course is in terrible shape. Currently (jan 2025) the greens are okay but the fairways are bare and the tee boxes are mostly trashed or lacking grass altogether.

I’m not sure what’s going on here, we payed $75 to walk this course and I have no idea where that money is going. Until there is a significant amount of capital and energy put back into this course, just avoid playing here. There are so many good courses nearby for the same or less money.

While I have only played this course in the late fall and winter, I feel like the conditions could and should be better. Far too many patches of just dirt on the fairways and greens with dry patches as well. Tee box conditions were a hit and miss. This course could be really good if it were better maintained. For now only play it if you can get a discounted rate.

The course is a bit dry and fairways dry but the greens a as good as they have ever been. Fast and they roll true. The layout is really good and the staff is great. Great value for the money.

This is a convenient course located a few miles from my house. The staff is always warm and welcoming… unfortunately it was windy when we played, however the fairways in some areas were dried out, but for the most part the greens were in good shape. I believe a good value for the asking price. We followed the men’s club outing but we still played under 4 hours…

I've played here quite a few rimes over the years and remembered when it was beautiful! Unfortunately, there was a lot patches and a lot of hard pan surfaces on the fairways. Some of the greens weee in great condition, some not so much. I don't think I will return until I read reviews that it's better.

Absolutely terrible conditions, 70% of the fairways are dry or dirt; several muddy sections they are clearly not managing the water also dead branches trash, etc., will not be playing this course anytime soon

Congratulations Legends you have reduced your course to a level lower than California Oaks.

Tees boxes bare and hard like concrete, fairways either bare, burnt or wet and muddy.

DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE!!! there is basically NO fairway grass at all. NONE. Dirt, mud and in poor porr condition. Given where it is located, should step this up a bit.

I’ve been living in this area for a couple of years. I’ve played all the courses around here. This one is by far the one I am calling my home course. I play golf Thursday sometimes Wednesday.. the price is very fair and I get my senior discount at 55. Pretty fair. Most courses I play it’s 62. Hence I I don’t play others to often. Course is payed out well the greens are fast not to fast. Couple of holes could use some seeding. Overall I love the course..

Absolutely the worst conditions and NO grass!!! Do not play

The nicest parts of the Legends is the golf carts and the staff. AVOID THIS COURSE.... Until they clean it up. Too much mud and dirt.

The fairways were brown and rock hard. Course use to be in great shape but last 2 times playing is seems they have let the fairways get really bad. Greens were nice but brown fairways on 70% of the holes makes for a bad round of golf

Can tell a lot of people just got clubs for Christmas and never swung before! Over 5 hours for the round Saturday. Group ahead of us hitting multiple balls off tee, into the houses and 90 degrees to right off tee box. Several couldn’t hit ball past 30-40 yards, hitting 5-6th shot from 150 yds out. They were throwing clubs and scuffing up greens. We told the Marshal that was riding around in Kansas City Chief’s attire and he did and said nothing to them the entire 5 hours. Super slow out there!!!

Worst course conditions I have ever played EVER!!!! Not one stitch of grass and they charge FULL price!!!! Winter here should be perfect fairways instead, UN PLAYABLE!

This course use to be in great shape but you guys have really let it go. The T boxes are patchy and sometimes bare. The fairways are patchy and either hard pan or muddy. The greens are bumpy and pock marked. The bunkers need more sand. What an eye sore! Shame on you!

Feels like they have given up on maintaining the course. I was shocked on arrival but decided to play having taken off the day. But I will never return.
