Legends Golf Club

This course used to be a great track. It has gone down the drain. Avoid this course until they put money into it

My wife and I were joined by Will for an enjoyable round at the Legends. Tee’d off right before a tournament so pace of play was perfect. Greens are still generous but challenging. Rough was a but juicy but course layout delivers a great experience.

The layout is good, and the wide fairway is easy to play on. However, I was not happy because the team in front was playing too slowly. Some teams behind me just passed them. It was really hard to play in the bunker due to the lack of sand. however staff are very kinds.

Played on a Wednesday at 11 am. I love the layout and challenges. Course was ok, but the range was closed until 11am. Checked in at 1010 but couldn’t get a cart until 1030 the staff was friendly but he was just following orders so no problem.

My issue is the $65 for a mid-week and midday round. Definitely playing again but not my first option

Played this course 20 years ago when it was nice boy how things have changed.

So much potential in layout but hard to find any fairway grass, greens ok but approach badly winter killed. We played last year and certainly was not in this bad shape.

Great layout, staff, but maintenance not to any acceptable standard. No sand in traps or green approach maintenance. Could be 5 Star

The pace of play was absolutely HORRIFIC! We waited 5 to 10 minutes at EVERY hole for our turn to tee off! We'd play a hole in a few minutes and then sit and watch as two foursomes were stacked up in front us at EVERY hole. Virtually three hours for the first nine holes! We left after nine. The fairways were BARELY passable with spotty grass and many, many dry patches. Many tee boxes were just smoothed-out sand. Greens were at least green and moist, but badly spotty and full of a zillion ball-marks, apparently the members there don't feel the need to repair their ball-marks. It had great course hole layouts, at least the front nine, never saw the back nine. There was serious rain run-off damage all over the course that hasn't even remotely been addressed, despite the fact the damage happened over a year ago. We complained to a Marshal who candidly told us that this was the way it ALWAYS was on weekends. So avoid this course at all costs. Go play Cross Creek instead. I was elated to foresake the rest of my green fees to not have to suffer through nine more holes at this course.

Tee boxes and fairways are either dead grass and dirt or mud when watered
