Legends Golf Club

The course has fallen below standard this year perhaps due to repairs or enhancements. Numerous brown or bare spots throughout. Greens are very good though.

But i would like to give due credit to the staff who allowed me to play reversely. There was a 4some women who teed off a little early. Saw them took at least 20 min on the first hole. It would have been a long afternoon for me. Fortunately, playing the back nine First got me finished playing in under 4 hours.

Greens are great, everything else is sad lost two balls in the fairway lawnmower would be great weedwack even better

I am sure at some point this was a lovely course. Now it is run down. I probably hit off of grass from the fairways 5 times. It’s very bare.

Tees and Greens need a lot work. Lots of bare spots

I reserved wiith hotdeal from golfnow at $266.00 for 4 players, but when i came at the course the green fee was only $45 per players, which’s mean $180.00 total. Golf now overcharged me $ 86.00 which don’t understand.

I played the Legends several times years ago . After my long layoff I was excited to play it again and really excited because I got to play alone. Disappointed from the beginning hole. Had to wait almost 5 minutes to tee off because of .the tractor mower. Almost like he didn’t care. And this happened on several holes. They just don’t get out of way until they’re ready. One hole I had to hit right up on him then he moved. Several of the greens are ridiculously ruined a d the fairways have for the most part just let go. I use to love this course and years ago use to play it on a hot deal for half the money. That’s the money I would say is worth playing it. Not today’s hot deal price. Not going back. I would be embarrassed to take someone there.

Cannot promote this course until they resolve the burnt green issues, the maintenance will take sometime to resolve, very disappointing.

I’ve played this course many times over the last 25 years through many ownership and management changes. This last time was probably the worst course conditions I’ve experienced in that 25 years. Average greens fees are around $40-$50. I wouldn’t pay $20. Greens were in terribly bad condition almost as if their maintenance staff scorched the greens with a higher concentration of fertilizer and then attempted to soak the greens in hopes of mitigating the damage created. At one point I had to move my ball 2 club lengths from where it landed on the green due to the green being almost unplayable. Landed on one green and my ball submarined 2 inches below the green surface due to the greens being over watered. The topper was management telling us to take our coolers back to our cars and we’d have to purchase beverages through the cart girl or the restaurant on site. Pretty sure you aren’t going to sustain your course based on beverage sales. Plus there are plenty of ways around this so why make a big deal out of it? If you don’t care about course conditions, enjoy. If you do, there are 5 other courses in this area that are much better for the cost of a round of golf.

Course was not its best for sure. Thank god for the awesome staff, otherwise it would have been a complete disaster. Bad spots on the green are avoidable if you know where you’re shooting for . Need more sand in bunkers and if the green has weeds on it that’s an issue. Come on.
