Los Robles Greens Golf Course

Rate of play is pretty slow on this course. I have played this course 5 times and never finished a round in under 4.5 hours. This most recent trip was over a 5 hour round.

The course is great, but they should really spread the tee times out because you do tend to get a lot of slower golfers on this course.

Fairways and greens in great condition. Primary problem, it was so slow. Lets play ready golf. Don't take five or six practice swings on every shot or discuss the break for your putt for five minutes. Take your shot, make the putt and get a move on!

the course is well maintained with large greens that are really nice and fast and true.
Great course , with lot of variation of holes
2 of par 5's are less than 500yds but fun to play.

Wonderful course, best I've played in Ventura county by far. Fairways are in wonderful shape, and there is a noticible difference between the fairway and rough. Have to be accurate off the tee because most holes are narrow, but they open up some on the back nine. Greens are in great shape, most are fast although it seemed a couple were much slower. Regardless, great looking course, beautifully maintained and a wonderful value for the price!

Greens are in perfect shape and fast. Fairways are narrow and you have to be accurate off the tee, but they open up some on the back nine. Tee boxes are usually in very good shape and not really torn up, even the par 3's. Great course and an even better deal for the price.

This was my first time playing here, and my experience was great. This course definitely gives you the feeling of a private club course at public course prices. From the green fees, to the club house food prices, this place is spot on. The course is challenging enough for mid handicappers and it will give high handicaps a run for their money. I will be playing here more often. Great job Los Robles!

Every once in a while a green will go from super fast to snail slow. I think 7 was one of them. The rest play fairly fast.

The course is in good shape, except that some of the greens are still bumpy and recovering from recent aeration. Some of the bunkers lacked sand on the base so you hit hard ground, which made them more difficult to play.

Overall, I enjoy the course very much. We had some very slow beginner golfers in front of us. It took the fun out of it when you had to wait on every hole. They would drive their cart right up to the greens. Even on the par 3's they were still very slow. They did not appear to know golf etiquette at all.

Most of the holes are pretty straightforward and there is a GPS system that's very helpful. A few of the holes, maybe 4, are difficult to picture accurately even with the GPS. The fairways need some attention; greens had been aerated 3 weeks ago and were in very good condition. Fair amount of water, though one water hazard had been drained completely to our surprise when we got there.
Would play it again. Beautiful clubhouse and friendly staff.

Love the course. Good mix of easy and challenging holes. Have to find a way that you are not sat for 20-30 mins at tee boxes waiting to hit a shot.

This course is in excellent shape. Big improvements with the Tee boxes over the years, fairways are in excellent shape, the rough is tough but fair, & the greens seem to always be in great shape. The staff members are always friendly and accommodating.

you don't need to be a long hitter to play this course. easy on green with two. the course are in good condition. but some holes require attention special on the green. staffs here are very friendly, love them. I would definitely come back and play again.....

Los Robles is always a great course, the conditions are usually great. This course is well maintained. Everything was fine except for the fact the greens were being aerated. It was like putting in a sandtrap.

it has a nice lay out, very nice weather anytime of the year.
you can finish the round under 4 hrs on a weekday.

The greens were being worked on as play went on. Workers were pushing sand across the greens as you hit your approach shots. Once on the greens workers would chat and distract. They should close the course for a day or two to prepare green instead of making people pay to get annoyed.

You will find this course a good experience to play, it is forgiving on the fairways and a challence on the putting surface. Course knowledge will help with that once you play it several times. Unfortunately it was my first time. Mid week cart girls help!

I enjoyed every minute of my experience at Los Robles and would recommend it to anyone.
