Los Robles Greens Golf Course
About
Nestled in the foothills of the Conejo Valley, Los Robles Greens Golf Course is less than 40 miles from L.A. but feels much further thanks to the beautiful mountain surroundings. It sits at 900 feet above sea level and tumbles across a variety of elevation changes. The towering, mature oaks that line the fairways characterize the course. The diverse layout offers both wide and narrow fairways, water hazards, and thick cuts of rough. The undulating greens are also lightning fast. The course is a fair challenge but still gentle enough to appeal to a range of skill levels. Although it is a public golf course, the beautiful setting and excellent course conditions gives Los Robles Greens the feel of a private club, which makes it a great value for the price.

Fist time on the course, it was fun, lots of elevation changes

Greens rolled nicely for a wet day.The course was in good shape. Our foursome had much fun.
It was a wet and soggy Saturday, we tee'd off at noon, the conditions of the course were better than the weather. Tee boxes were in good Shape the fairways too. The greens were rolling nicely,we made a birdie or two. On the back nine we finally saw the sunlight and our day began to be more bright, finished around dusk and had a beer until night.Twas a good day, and we all were happy that we had come to play.
Very slow play on a Saturday afternon in November.
I teed off around 12 PM and did not finish. Round took more than 5 hours -- not sure why - -it was a breezy, cool day in November.
Los Robles is a nicely laid-out course that is well maintained and offers a challenge to players at any level.
Los Robles is a lovely course that players of all levels will find challenging. The course is in good condition and is well maintained. The golf carts are equipped with GPS and scoring mechanisms which enhances your exsperience while providing valuable information. The one drawback is the pace of play, especially on the weekends. As an example, there were 3 in our group and the same in the party immediately in front of us. Yet we waitied at almost every hole. This disrupts a player's concentration and becomes a point of frustration. Absent that, I think Los Robles is a great course, reasonably priced (especially with discounted fees available on-line) and a nice place to spend a few hours of your time.
The Pro Shop Staff has the WORST Attitude. Enough to avoid the Future
Just OK for the money. Pro Shop Staff has the Worst Attitude. Typical Public Course with HACKERS and Rude People
Good Course that plays longer than it seems
This was my first time playing this course. Very well maintained. Some narrow fairways require accurate drives. I was a little too timid on some holes. Good Par 3's. I would definitely play this course again. It took right at 4 1/2 hours for 18 holes which is what I consider average. I could not select 4 1/2 as an option so my selection says 4 3/4. We were only really backed up on one hole. The rest was pretty smooth.
Great Value
Although I do not live in this area, I've played at several courses and thought that this was the course with the best value. The fairways were decent, the greens were good, and the layout made it fun.
Nice course but watch for slow players!
Would have gotten 5 stars but there were no course marshalls to help move a very slow playing group along that were in front of us. They were apologetic and they could have at least said something to that group at the turn, they chose not to. The tee boxes were in the process of being upgraded and weren't that great but the rest of the course was in terrific shape.
Interesting course with a balance of challenge and forgiveness.
This is a shorter course than many. I played from the white tees, which were moved up a little due to maintenance. The first thing I noticed was that the greens were a lot slower than the practice greens, which might be a sign of the season. I would have liked them to be a bit faster and less bumpy. Everyone in my foursome found that to be the case. Each hole on this course offers something different, whether it's a narrow fairway or the need for carefully placed fairway shots. There are a few holes where length will be an advantage, but this is also a course where shot-making pays off. Not all par-4's and 5's require driver. There are plenty of mature trees on this hilly course and sometimes they're your friend. We found few cases where errant balls could not be found or played. In this regard, it's a forgiving course. Overall, the par 70 offers interesting opportunities and some nice views. Players need to think before they reach for the driver and greens can be quite sloped and undulating. I will definitely play this course again.
Good but Slow
The course is maintained pretty well. It is not perfect, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Good value. I happened to be there on a day when it was busy and played a little slow.
the greens were recently aerated
great would b better if the greens were not in the process of aeration
Los Robles
This was the third or fourth time my wife and I played this course.
We always find it well kept and in good condition. The natural lay of the terrain, which is beautiful, is implemented to complement a fun and challenging round at affordable cost. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. And the chef at the snack bar creates a sensational hamburger.
we love this course!
Hi my BFF and I love to play this course,
it's perfect for our advanced beginner level
and it's a beautiful course to be on.
I love the gps in carts and the staff is super friendly
Good course, but no one told us about aerated greens
Hi really like this course and the value you get. Unfortunately, I just played there Saturday and when I called for a tee time, no one told me they had just recently aerated the greens. I hate when courses do that because we shouldn't be charged full price if the course is not in full condition.
Nice layout
I lived in Agoura Hills for years and this was my home course. Some tough holes, not super long, but def worth the play.
Great Course, friendly staff
Played an early twilight round. Smooth play, nice course, staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great course with horrible cart 'rules'
I've played this course many times as I live a few miles away. There is a BIG downside if you are a single going to play this course and ride in a cart. Since they got new carts they've implemented a rule that you must share a cart if there's another person riding alone. Some may see this as no biggie but from personal experience, it is! You don't know the quality of person you are gonna be thrown together with and you are stuck! Example, the other players had absolutely no common courtesy, hitting their ball from tee and then going immediately to their ball before the rest have hit and many other obnoxious things. I will never play here again as a single until they change that rule!
Good Course for a Muni
Los Robles always provides a convenient and accessible round. Unless you are right next to the freeway, you quickly forget the course is placed next to the 101. Good value.
It could be worse!
I have played this course some 10 times now, some 85% of the time I’m playing with someone who is playing either for the first time or a parent wants their 16 year old to experience the game of golf. Of course, the 16 yr old has never taken a lesson. Needless to say, the rounds become painfully long and just painful.
On a positive note, the course is always in pretty good shape and the greens are reasonably well kept.
Catch the right tee time and your round will move at a good pace and be enjoyable.
Fun challenges
Course was decent compared to other times and recovering nicely. Greens were decent early on and super bumpy around 1pm but course is always fun and staff is always nice. As I started my round leaving 1st green my bag slips out of the strap and my driver was scuffed up and that was a very bad start to the round. Hopefully that gets taken care of for me but other then that course is usually a good time.
