Los Robles Greens Golf Course
About
Nestled in the foothills of the Conejo Valley, Los Robles Greens Golf Course is less than 40 miles from L.A. but feels much further thanks to the beautiful mountain surroundings. It sits at 900 feet above sea level and tumbles across a variety of elevation changes. The towering, mature oaks that line the fairways characterize the course. The diverse layout offers both wide and narrow fairways, water hazards, and thick cuts of rough. The undulating greens are also lightning fast. The course is a fair challenge but still gentle enough to appeal to a range of skill levels. Although it is a public golf course, the beautiful setting and excellent course conditions gives Los Robles Greens the feel of a private club, which makes it a great value for the price.

A good course but fairways need work.
Have played there before and will play again. Lots of trees but greens are open and well guarded.
Good, especially for a muni course.
I play the course every 6-8 weeks; plays slow on weekends often, but nice staff, interesting course (especially the back 9) and is reasonably challenging if you pick the right tees for almost everyone.
A picturesque course with Hills, Water and Oaks.
This course is very majestic with hilly fairways and water.
Oaks line many of the fairways adding a challenge to every level of golfer. Not a long course, but long enough for a great day of fun.
This course is set in a country club atmosphere.
You will love your experience on this Southern California golf course.
For time of year course is in great shape. Fun - not too challanging.
Variety of holes with elevated tees and greens. Made course interesting. Greens are fast with some big breaks. Water hazards and traps kept you on your toes.
Good value
Great experience! Good value with GolfNow. Will contiune to book my tee times with GolfNow.
Enjoyable layout
This is the second time I've played Los Robles Greens this year. I enjoy the course layout very much. No two holes play the same.I played the day after over night rain. We played lift clean and place. The fairways were tighter than I like. I prefer a little more comforatable lie. With all the Oak trees around the course it is a very pretty course. The rough was spotty and clumpy. I like the club house, but it needs better maintenance. The GPS on the carts worked well. Xjumper.
Great experience
Since we played early on a Friday AM, it played like a private course; not too crowded. Greens were still wet, but most of the conditions were pretty good. Nice day of golf...if you over look a few bad shots!
Great course but greens need some work
I had fun just had trouble with the greens had to fix at least 6/10 ball marks because they were in my line
Great deal for a great course!
I started playing Los Robles at the beginning of 2012, and I love it. The staff are helpful and up-beat, the carts are clean, and the course is so much fun to play. The driving range and putting and chipping greens make it a great place to warm up before a round. The challenging layout and landscape make it one of my favorites!
Decent value, marshall did not maintain pace
Since moving away from Thousand Oaks a few years back, I haven't had the opportunity to play Robles much. The new pro shop and restaurant turned out nice, however I was shocked to hear that rental clubs at a muni course cost $45? I did see that they were Callaway RAZR X clubs, but it doesn't seem to align with the overall course clientele and price tiers - by purely my opinion. Maybe offer a 'regular" rental and a "premium" rental to serve a broader audience? That was going to cost more than our twilight round! Something did not seem right there, but we ended up finding some clubs to use. My biggest grief of the day was that when we arrived, the pro shop team told us we should move pretty quickly, at 2:15 per 9... only to find out there were two tournaments ahead of us and we finished the first nine in 2:40. It was a long round, got about 13 holes in.
Stay away from busy periods
I have played this course in the past and it is a good public course, not terribly long with some challenging shots and lies. However, stay away from typically crowded times. Play early in the morning or not at all. We recently played on Black Friday with a 12:30 tee time and we only got through 10 holes in 3 1/2 hours. It would have been a 7+ hour round.
Fist time on the course, it was fun, lots of elevation changes

Greens rolled nicely for a wet day.The course was in good shape. Our foursome had much fun.
It was a wet and soggy Saturday, we tee'd off at noon, the conditions of the course were better than the weather. Tee boxes were in good Shape the fairways too. The greens were rolling nicely,we made a birdie or two. On the back nine we finally saw the sunlight and our day began to be more bright, finished around dusk and had a beer until night.Twas a good day, and we all were happy that we had come to play.
Very slow play on a Saturday afternon in November.
I teed off around 12 PM and did not finish. Round took more than 5 hours -- not sure why - -it was a breezy, cool day in November.
Los Robles is a nicely laid-out course that is well maintained and offers a challenge to players at any level.
Los Robles is a lovely course that players of all levels will find challenging. The course is in good condition and is well maintained. The golf carts are equipped with GPS and scoring mechanisms which enhances your exsperience while providing valuable information. The one drawback is the pace of play, especially on the weekends. As an example, there were 3 in our group and the same in the party immediately in front of us. Yet we waitied at almost every hole. This disrupts a player's concentration and becomes a point of frustration. Absent that, I think Los Robles is a great course, reasonably priced (especially with discounted fees available on-line) and a nice place to spend a few hours of your time.
The Pro Shop Staff has the WORST Attitude. Enough to avoid the Future
Just OK for the money. Pro Shop Staff has the Worst Attitude. Typical Public Course with HACKERS and Rude People
Good Course that plays longer than it seems
This was my first time playing this course. Very well maintained. Some narrow fairways require accurate drives. I was a little too timid on some holes. Good Par 3's. I would definitely play this course again. It took right at 4 1/2 hours for 18 holes which is what I consider average. I could not select 4 1/2 as an option so my selection says 4 3/4. We were only really backed up on one hole. The rest was pretty smooth.
Great Value
Although I do not live in this area, I've played at several courses and thought that this was the course with the best value. The fairways were decent, the greens were good, and the layout made it fun.
Nice course but watch for slow players!
Would have gotten 5 stars but there were no course marshalls to help move a very slow playing group along that were in front of us. They were apologetic and they could have at least said something to that group at the turn, they chose not to. The tee boxes were in the process of being upgraded and weren't that great but the rest of the course was in terrific shape.
