Ponderosa Golf Course

About
Ponderosa Golf Course may have a short layout but it features the challenges of a full-length championship course. The golf course sprawls across mountainous terrain that provides plenty of elevation changes throughout. The fairways are lined with towering trees and the greens are undulating, making accuracy a top priority in doing well. There are two dogleg holes and one hole has an elevated green to watch out for. There are also bunkers scattered throughout. The golf course provides excellent short game practice as well as being a great round for beginning to intermediate players. Ponderosa Golf Course also has practice facilities for golfers to use including chipping and putting greens and driving nets.

A great way to golf locally
A very well-maintained 9 hole course, with fairly narrow fairways to challenge wayward tee shots. It’s a very walkable course with just one elevated green. The par 4 holes were long enough to be a challenge, but fair. The finishing part 5 9th was as long as any I’ve played. Hope to play here again
Great 9 hole course
Course is in great condition. For the price in the area this course is great.
Greens are on the slow side compared what I am use to.
Great course with Kids
Great value, pace of play, length to play with younger kids. Supports Youth on Course. Friendly staff.
Fun family environment
It's been 20 years since I have been to this course and I will come back again
Underwhelming
Some holes were in descent shape, but most were not, with the greens being in the worst condition. Sandy, patchy, unpredictable. And pace of place was horrible, even first thing in the morning, starter letting singles go out instead of pairing them up with others. Truly horrible value for the price paid.
Fun, bargain priced round
We played on Thursaday, Ladies Day, for just $25 each. Had fun walking the course. The greens are barely playable, but the course is otherwise fine at this price point t
Green Need Work
Overall the course was in decent shape except for the green. The greens were in horrible shape several had large patches of dirt and no grass.
Fun 9 hole with cool views
Fun little course. Layout was cool, holes were fun. Greens were pretty rough but other than that it was a very fun vacation 9 holes. Would play again.
Course just opened and some greens where in rough shape
Great price for the Area
9 hole course, greens were good except for the 9th, small repair going on.
Some tight shots with tree lined fairways( nice challenge )
Then the last couple holes open up a little but.
9th Hole par 5 tree in middle of fairway, about 150 out. Nice challenging hole.
Pro shop staff was good.
Excellent course for seniors...
At 80, 9-12 holes are achievable for me. This is a very nice layout and it's in great condition. l
