Castle Oaks Golf Club

I like this course. Staff was friendly, I felt. The course is challenging! I think if I played it a couple more times I would play things differently. Lots of water on holes 1, 2, and 3, but did ok off the tees. For the most part, I enjoyed the round. I just need to play it a few more times to get a feel of the course. I would recommend!

Fun challenging layout with many holes that require the golfer to carry an obstacle in the fairway. Condition of course could be better but overall was an enjoyable experience

When we stay in Plymouth at the 49er RV Park we always save a day to play Castle Oaks. Great track that challenges you on every hole. I cannot hit driver on most par 4’s so it forces me to play strategically. My wife is a novice golfer but lives the challenges of each hole and the scenery is her favorite. Staff is always friendly, course is always in great shape and the weather in the are year around is superb. Highly recommend for golfers of all handicaps.

Hot day but fairways and greens were in great shape. All staff in pro shop, snack bar and green keepers were friendly.

Despite the bunkers being a little thin, you will have to play good to score good. Be patient if you are a double digit hdcp. player. You could play this course 3 days a week and not get bored. Good Luck!

Great distancing for covid-19. Individual carts. Played in under 4 hours.

Great layout. A little bit of a drive but totally worth it. Everyone was super friendly. Tee'd off around 2:30, paired up with another guy who had played the course before which was very helpful.

Tough course to play for the first time with lots of blind shots on par 4s and par 5s.

Course was in excellent condition. I really enjoyed the layout of holes.

I wil definitely be back!

Course is in great shape and the staff is awesome and always understanding. My only complaint is this, i feel like a 4pm teetime should be 27-30$ not 36$. My reasoning being that given that you want the carts in by 7-7:15 ( cart guys are super cool and normally let you finish out if your making the turn to 18) so you expect any group that books that time to play 1hr 15mn ahead of pace in order to get the carts in on time. Which would be fine for a two or maybe even a good threesome but foursomes no way. Maybe not book foursomes after 3pm to avoide any overtime on your part and rushed play on the golfers.

Also would be nice to see a locals discount, i work at the casino but since we are closed right now i dont really feel right using my badge so it would be cool to see you guys give a small discount to county golfers.

Love the course and atmosphere, def my favorite!!!!!!

Many of the greens were in poor shape, the rough was way to thick and tall,. Price was high due to course and green conditio.

Nice course, challenging, you must stay in the fairway or you will pay for it.

Under the circumstances it went well. The staff was excellent in keeping the golfers where we needed to be.

Considering no rain for a month the course was in very good condition!

No grass on the driving range.

Will play it again.

incrediblly difficult course with lots of water hazards and needing long drives to cross over hazard. should be better the next time i play this challenging course. it was just torture this first time.
