Golfer Reviews
Blue Rock West good place to play
With the COVID restrictions there is one person per cart. Playing at 11:30 am on a Tuesday there were no issues getting carts for me and my playing companion. The person behind us loved the course as well and thought it was a better value than Eagle Vines in Napa. We have played here for over 20 years.
West is the best
Much preferred to the wind-blown East course. Has an old muni feel to it. Dog-legged and tree-lined . Best enjoyed with gummies and IPA’s.
Course is amazing, but watch your cars
The course was in absolute amazing condition considering we have had the storms passing through. Conditions were wet but not soggy as long as you weren’t in a drainage area. I thought the layout was phenomenal; very challenging but did not destroy your score if you had a few less than perfect shots. My only problem with the course was that when I got back to my car after the round my window had been broken out. Nothing stolen but my window and two other car’s windows had been broken out for seemingly no reason by someone. Course was great just don’t leave anything at all in your car.
Short course but challenging
Fall weather has been spectacular the course is in excellent condition. The greens tend to be slow and bumpy and it irritates me that players do not repair their ball marks. The one improvement I would like to see is an up grade of sand traps with high quality sand at the proper depth. This is a great public course and I would recommend it to all my fellow golfers.
