Blue Rock Springs Golf Course - West

My fellow golf player Dante was a victim at the Blue Rock Springs Parking lot, his car windows was smashed and the thieves or robbers took away stuff of unknown value... Hope the “The City of Vallejio or Golf Management should do something about these problem... Been informed it had been happening in the past...

First opportunity to play the West Course. Enjoyed the layout. Can tell it's an old layout, however I found it in good condition and enjoyed the challenge presented

Course was in good shape overall. Greens were really in nice shape. Pace of play was a bit slow but not too bad. I’d play here again for the price

Both courses are always in good shape and you can always find a good deal on Golf now. Ive played her 20+ times and always finish around 4 hours; never seen it backed up. Marshalls do a good job of keeping the pace.

No cart beverage service and the restaurant closes early. Yesterday I finished my round at 6:30pm when it gets dark at 8:30. The reastauraunt was already closed and there was no where to get a post round libation.

This was our first time at this course and was not disappointed. We did get a little confused on the layout but that didn't stop the fun. It had some challenging holes, but it also was a windy day. Will definitely play again! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star on pace was because we got bottle-necked with the group in front of us and this caused a real issue with the pace because there were two groups right behind us.

The courses have dried out and are in great condition. I like the course landscape and prefer the older West course but the East course is fun as well posing a different challenge. The greens are mid to fast and receptive towards approach shots...I think you'll enjoy playing Blue Rock...great value.

I would highly recommend this course, however, on this day I had an early (6AM) tee time, but the Manager overslept and had 30 cars lined up outside the gates until 6:20 ! I asked for a discount for the inconvenience, but I was denied.

AS for the course, it is in very good shape and the greens are the best I've ever seen them in 15 years playing there.

Greens were a little bumpy and super slow. Staff was very friendly. Including the on course Marshall.

Only minor complaint was that the course was backed up when we checked in. We weren't given instructions as to when we should go to the first tee, so we had to ask at the pro shop again. We teed off later than our scheduled time, but other than that, the pace of play and course conditions were great! I've always enjoyed this course and look forward to coming back.

lot's of interesting holes, up hill down hill, tricky par 3s. All in all, a fun golfing experience.

I booked this knowing they had punched the greens last week (thus the $30 round with cart), so no surprises. It's part of golf course maintenance that we will appreciate later in the summer. Because of the punches, nothing really rolled true or got the distance it should have. But the fairways were in great condition, drying out nicely from winter rains and the weather was pretty well perfect. I only gave 3 stars on the pace....they let out 2 groups of five in front of us.
