Blue Rock Springs Golf Course - West

Really enjoy this course. Pace of play was a bit slow today, but still had a great time.

Mostly good conditions, though there were some wet spots and dead grass in places. Pace of play was pretty slow.

The course is going.through fall conditioning which has slowed down the greens a bit, but the course in general is in very good shape. A few bunkers could use some overdue edging to trim the grass runners.

This was an extreme painful slow round of golf. On every hole on the back, there would be a group on the tee box and two foursomes waiting. I asked the guys in front of us, if this was typical and they said "yes". When I inquired as to why, their respond was "they overbook!" The course layout is very interesting and challenging. I would like to return but hesitate given the slow pace of place. I did see a Marshall drive by several times but he never stopped or appeared to do anything There was also no starter. The beverage cart circled several rounds. The greens had been aerated so this was a bit annoying. Wish we had had prior knowledge.

I always have a great time playing a blue rock. They have an extremely friendly and helpful staff. I’ll be playing blue rock as often as possible.

Well maintained course nestled in a residential community. Great layout with elevation changes and tons of natural beauty

I played the west course. With the exception of wet bunkers, the course is well maintained and in good shape.. the maintenance crew got on the way on several holes and they didn’t.care much if they make wait for them. The pro shop staff was not friendly or helpful.

The pace of play was terrible. We were able ro play only the first hole without waiting 5 - 8 minutes on every shot. 5 par #7 had 4 groups and by hole 6, 3 groups were on the tee box. We quit after 9 holes. Management said it should have opened up on the back 9 but they'd already lost us... It appears that they may have yielded to the masses rather than concentrating on providing a quality round of golf to the discrrning player.

We booked a tee time for 9 AM got there an hour early I wanted to go to the driving range. When I got there they told me That they did not have a cart available because you’re having a tournament. If you make a teatime you should have a golf cart reserved for you. Unfortunately your driving range is far away from the clubhouse. So I had to get back into my car and drive over to the driving range. Such an inconvenience. I know they had more carts in the barn I believe it was poor planning on their behalf. This is not the first time it has happened.
