Uncouth
I don’t really understand how this course charges money for people to play off this garbage heap. Imagine a sea of rolling hills covered side to side in the thickest most disgusting crab grass that you can imagine. The shot that you have played for years and have built your game around is now worthless as you as you hack your way around the course. I’m physically ill writing this so I have to stop. Good luck.

Scenic course with elevated tees
Par 3s 4 of the 5 requires carry to small greens. Challenging course from blue tees.

They oversold carts to a private tournament.
No carts available at 445….for a 5pm tee time……it seems like everytime i play this course something is wrong. Either the range is closed without notice, there are no carts, random ppl playing the east without tee times, terrible pace of play. I left without playing, didnt get a refund.
If you want a headache donate your money to charity bluerock. You’re essentially subsidizing everything else they do there including their member program. I wish another company would buy the property and turn into a functional golf course.
Staff and conditons were great, but why would that matter if you cant play the course?
Here’s to hoping thos place changes ownership and management.

good course very hot day
Course was in good shape but they still don' t have the cold water back out on the course and there was no cart person so the cold water jugs need to be put back out in the holders that are still there.

Best Bacon Cheeseburger
BR gets a little browned and cracked off the fairway in summer and the greens were a tiny bit bumpy, but overall really good shape for how much play the course gets. Most importantly, the grille throws down the best grub ever. Especially the Bacon Cheeseburger.

Blue stock
A last minute, drunken early Saturday morning decision to play ended up being a fun quick Saturday round on 4th of July weekend for $50! How can I complain…that there are no souvenir carts, only 1 bathroom and no water on the course. The restaurant I haven’t eaten at in a long time but remember it being fine for a public course. The usual quick derivable golf course options. Because the important things are what matter…which include in order of importance, 1st:.pace of play, 2nd: conditions and 3rd:: cost and 4th: treatment from personnel. Course of play: awesome….jumped out by myself :30 min prior to Tee time and didn’t catch up to 2-some ahead until the 10th hole, which then as a 3-some, didn’t get held up until a par 3 on 16 and after that sailed through the final 2 holes w/o a wait. 2nd: good for a busy public course. Pretty rough Tee boxes, but nicely conditioned fairways and greens. Fair and forgiving but well designed keeps play fun and interesting! 3rd: $50 last minute decision Tee time…great considering circumstances and w/ own cart (didn’t make me share which was worth every penny in itself as I wasn’t exactly in the mood to be spending too much time getting to know new people that day and 4th: well done for individual cart placement, as stated earlier, no line or delay in getting registered and straight onto the course from there. I gave off course amenities a 1 (I guess for restaurant, which could have given it a 2, maybe I was being tight on my point disbursement) but no drinking water, only on course bathroom and no cart amenities (didn’t try to bring my own cooler but I am sure that they didn’t check me for any bad you could easily get away with it). Take advantage of this course while you can as I have heard rumors that it may be being sold to developers….which would be an absolute shame to Vallejo City for allowing such a lost gem, especially after having already given up Mare Island which was a shame!!!! Hope you agree with this assessment and enjoy a remarkably reasonably priced course!

Nice course
The pace of play was a little bit slow. The single player did not pair with the two-some. That’s why it was slow.I think the pro shop should group them together before the first tee.

nice course very hot day
Course was in good shape and greens were fast. Only bad thing was the course has not set out any of the usual water stations that they had before the pandemic and on these hot days they are really necessary. One of my partners had to stop playing the last two holes because he couldn't get water to drink and cool off with.

Over booked
It was over booked. At one point there were 3 groups a head of me in line waiting to tee off at the 13th. There was also a tournament going at the same time.
