Blue Rock Springs Golf Course - East

I meet my cousin from Sacramento once or twice a year for golf. This is half way between us and is a great value. Wonderful staff and easy to get tee times. Challenging layout but fair for all levels of players. Will continue to visit and play this unique gem year after year.

Easy course in great condition. Sand traps could be improved

There are two courses, East and West. This really helps to keep a good pace of play.

It’s great value for money with Golf Now, and it has now become our regular go to course.

They keep the courses in very good condition, but our preference is the East Course.

The course was in great shape and greens on the East Course were running at a fast pace.

East Course was in good shape. 4.25 hrs to play. Greens were smooth & fast.

I have played this course many times over several years. Do not attempt to walk this course unless you are in great shape. The course is interesting. A lot of elevation changes. Several holes offer great views. I played on 12/21/17. The high tempreture for the afternoon was about 60 with a light wind. Fairways were cut low and the ball was rolling out. Greens were very fast and there was a lot of brake on almost every putt. My only real complaint was the condition of the bunkers. Most did not have much sand and were hard as a rock. The bunkers that did have sand were not raked. Not good.

Always enjoy playing this course. Layout is goo; not long but challenging. Elevation changes makes for seemingly easy shots more challenging.

Bunkers appear to be in the process of being redone We opted to just drop outside bunker no nearer to hole (at players discretion). Overall course is well maintained.

My wife and I have played the West Course before, and enjoyed it a great deal. The East course is a totally different animal. Massive slopes, greens that are just too dang fast, and a few holes that are just a pain in the butt. Like the no cart par 5 7th. I get why, yet ugh! If you are not in decent shape, and apparently I am not, be prepared for a tough day. Compared to other tough tracks in the region, like Bodega of Hiddenbrook, I think this course takes the true ball buster award. Would I play it again, perhaps. Yet would be more inclined to play the West.

Windy & dry December day made for super fast greens and fairways with a lot of rolll. It’s a fun course with some beautiful views.

Really enjoy playing Blue Rock (east) Course, a very enjoyable layout ,lots of changeling holes, making it a fun course. I highly recommend playing here plus there are some nice views from the higher tee's on a nice day !

We played Blue Rock Springs East at 9:00 am

and it played steady. We played as a threesome

and finished in about 4 hours.

Greens were in good condition, firm and fast, but

very playable. Fairways had some bare spots but

were typical California.

Topography is hilly. Lots of trees.

Our Associate Golf Club, Balls in Play, has been coming to your two courses for 15years and enjoy it each time.

Of all the courses in this area these are two of the top courses, great greens and course condition with good rates. Also your food service is great too.

Our Club travels each tuesday, we have about 30 members from Vacaville,FF,Napa,Vallejo,Sonoma and even Santa Rosa and one comes down from Jackson and Lincoln !!!

The course was in great shape,

The day started off Cold and Windy. By late morning, the wind died down and the sun was out.

Great day for a round of golf. Play was fast, with no one ahead of us and no one behind us . Week day morning are a great time to play here.

Nice for the variety of the holes . Hills up, down flat.

Nice and challenging.

Great value for your money.

Course in great condition.

Good pace of play

For 40 bucks which included a cart terrific value! However, Blue Rock Springs East may have the worst bunkers this side of the Mississippi - cost my buddy probably 6 strokes cost me at least 2/3. Only 18 has a normal bunker other than that greens were excellent fairways really good considering the crazy weather.

Lived in area a long time but never knew this great course(s) even existed. Now that we found it it's one of our favorite tracks!
