Blue Rock Springs Golf Course - East

Another great round in the books. Can't go wrong playing in Vallejo.

For a public course, BRS does a really nice job. The course is well cared for and the staff is friendly.

I was a single and the starter had me join another golfer who had got to thenefore me..The starter had me join this gentleman.. I had one of the best times of my golfing experiences! This gentleman was very nice and the best golfer I have played with for years! He shared some wonderful golf tips with me that will help my game on the years to come! I had a wonderful time ! Beautiful golf course (east)....

Blue Rock is a great set of courses but they need to put some sand in the bunkers so your not hitting of the clay in there and roll the greens so they have a little speed.Other then that everything is great,its a beautiful set of courses with amazing scenery and interesting holes that challenge most aspects of your game.

Well maintained course, tricky greens, great course.

We played Blue Rock East in Vallejo as a 3some at 9:30 am and finished in less than 4 hours.

The greens were generally in good condition, mowed and rolled, fairways had some thin spots, typical for

California.

Views of surrounding hillside, lots of trees, birds and

some wildlife.

This is a hillside course, and a challenge to walk.

Had a great round of golf on this very well taken care of course. Challenging 5 pars and nice elevated par 3 tee boxes. I will return!

Everything about the course is great, except the pace of play. If Blue Rock would hire a marshall or two it would move to excellent in my opinion.

It was a bit muddy, and some greens are diseased, but all said & done, great to play here.

Cafe was in transformation, with no draft beer and very limited selection of beers in cans. You lost some $ here today.

Great golf experience playing this course. I live in Orlando so do not normally get to play golf courses with hills but enjoyed my round. The course was in excellent shape in every manner. The only take away was that the bunkers were saturated with water from the rain making it difficult to play. I will definately play again when visiting this part of the country.

We played Blue Rock East in Vallejo at 9:00

and the pace was less than 4 hours.

The course is mostly hillside topography with

views of surrounding hills and the City of Vallejo.

The greens were mowed and rolled and fast.

Fairways were in good condition with some

typical California bare spots.

Go get it before it closes.

You would be hard pressed to find a better value in this area. It is not a long course but only golfers that can drive over 260 would notice. The greens crew loves to give hard pin placements on undulating greens so it will add a few strokes unless you're throwing darts at the green. Do not hit in to the bunkers! Most have so much gravel that they are like playing off the sidewalk! Overall though the grounds crew does a great job of keeping the course in great shape with limited funding.

Due to the last rain the golf course was a little damp, but overall was well maintained given the recent weather.

The West course is a good play, but if you want a test, take on the East for some up/down good times!

Great course to play. Great rates great condition.

I play this course once every 3-4 years and every time I wish I played it more. It’s a hotter course but it’s fun and carries a variety of shots. Worth playing for sure.

Had not played here in at least 10 years. Mostly because it is a crowded course regularly maintained but not groomed. A lot has changed since then. The dry conditions have made the East course fabulous. Almost did not recognize it. Get the rocks out of the traps though...Half the bunkers had all the sand. Greens were good. The slope and elevation with the cold, windy, fast greens made for a fun time; thoroughly enjoyed myself and will be back even if the course gets softer with some much needed rain incoming...I don't think I would want to be on that side when its wet though, lots of slick slopes...the West is probably the safe side when wet. It looked good too from my drive by.

The East course has many challenges and can show it's teeth if it wants. Looking forward to that next round here under the next sunny skies.

Blue rock has a fun layout and great staff if they only had more money to put back into the course it could really look awsome. Great bang for your buck and still a great course to walk.
