Eighteen Hole at Van Nuys Golf Course
About
Located just south of the airport, Van Nuys Golf Course has a unique location that provides an air show with anything from WWII Warbirds to F16 Falcons. It can be loud occasionally, but it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the area. There are two golf courses available, an 18-hole par-3 course and a nine-hole executive course. Neither of the courses are terribly formidable, but it's a great spot for getting in some practice. It's ideal for beginners but golf enthusiasts of any skill level will appreciate that the facility stays open late and both golf courses and the driving range are equipped with lights. The Van Nuys par-3 course offers good short game practice. There are a few bunkers and some strategically placed palm trees, but it's a very user-friendly golf course overall. It's even gentle enough for juniors.

There Are Better Courses For The Money
T boxes are a dirt mess, fairways are burnt grass or dirt, people course jumping holes, AIRPLANES CONSTANTLY, a lot of beginners talking, yelling on the course and it's in a busy neighborhood so activity all around as you golf. Noisy. There are better courses for the money.
Can’t Believe Golf Now Charged us $50 to play here!
Golf now completely messed up here. They charged us $50 each “with a cart”. There are NO carts on this small par course. Course allows anyone to walk up and just start playing. It’s a complete mess. Would not recommend this to anyone.
Great value for a par 3.
I would recommend. Only negative is when players fromezec course walk over and tee off at the par 3 course without tee times.
Nice Pace
Choose your days well and you can zip through the 18 hole course in 2.5 hours. Nice that it has some par 4s in the Executive Course too.
My girlfriend and I had a great time with the best weather!
This is a great local golf course. The 9 hole with your ability to train on your drives (3 driver holes). The 18 hole is nice too and you get to train on your 90-100yard T's. You want be disappointed with the greens and the play for the money.
Nice course in my neighborhood!
I have not played here for some time because of the pandemic, but glad to be back. The greens is still in pretty good shape and we had a great time! The foam in the holes is a good idea, but they could be a little shorter because a few balls was just rolling in and out of the hole!
Backed Up
Payed 10 dollars for a tee time on Golf Now. I could have just walked up and played. There were 6 groups waiting to tee off even though it was our tee time. It was very disorganized. Staff doesn’t do anything to control the crowd. It took 45 minutes to play 2 holes in a par 3. Ridiculous!!
Lack of upkeep
While being able to walk on is a perk, especially during covid, the course isn’t well maintained. I expect winter dead grass and some dirt so I’m not complaining about that. But the mats are old and mis-shapen. The course is littered with litter. Dumb customers with no respect but worse, a facility that doesn’t cleanup. The whole course feels like it’s heading downhill. It’s sad because it’s a good location and it’s nice to be able to play either 18 or 9. But it’s slightly depressing to see the unkempt tee boxes, horribly confusing course markers and signs and the lack of trash cleanup
