About
Located just south of the airport, Van Nuys Golf Course has a unique location that provides an air show with anything from WWII Warbirds to F16 Falcons. It can be loud occasionally, but it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the area. There are two golf courses available, an 18-hole par-3 course and a nine-hole executive course. Neither of the courses are terribly formidable, but it's a great spot for getting in some practice. It's ideal for beginners but golf enthusiasts of any skill level will appreciate that the facility stays open late and both golf courses and the driving range are equipped with lights. The Van Nuys par-3 course offers good short game practice. There are a few bunkers and some strategically placed palm trees, but it's a very user-friendly golf course overall. It's even gentle enough for juniors.

Not bad
For a public course it ain't bad. Greens aren't horrible. Layout is funky but course is great to work on short game. Also you hit of a mat bit grass
Quick executive par 30 course!
My girlfriend and I like coming here for a quick round of golf. It is very easy to walk and fairly easy even for the beginner.
They have a driving range, putting green and chipping area too!
The staff is great too!
Quick neighborhood par 3 course!
I like coming here for my short game, and had a good time. The holes is fairly easy, and is from about 90 to 130 yards!
The greens are always in pretty good shape except for some leaving their divots and don't seam to care.
The staff is great and they also have a driving range. They also have an executive 9 hole course at the facility, as well so you can hit your driver 3 times since there is 3 par 4 holes.
Nice Course to practice
Executive course is nice to practice to hone your skills. The only thing I hate most is not about the green but the people who plays around here. They don’t know how to repair their ball marks on the green they just leave it with ball marks which is sad. Aside from that I always want to practice here since its so convenient everytime you want to play
Amount of people
There was five people in front of my son and I, in one party. I even saw one party with seven people all playing together. It ruins the rhythm and experience of the game. The signage was also very bad.
Signs, where are the signs?!
It’s pretty simple, for a course this cheap (next to an airport) you’re gonna get what you “don’t” pay for. For the most part it’s pretty well maintained, the greens at least, but if there’s one request, I’d say new signs with yardage would be nice. I know it’s definitely a practice course, and any par 3 course is not gonna being in the rich crowd, but signs make a difference. Also, a few signs that show where the next hole is (mainly 15 coming off 14) would be helpful.
Course was good. Fairways aren’t so good but had nice greens and they need to change the mats asap but for the price you pay is good
Van Nuys golf
Corse was wide open so no pressure from behind & no waiting at any tees. Fairways not great but fringe areas were in great shape and greens were in very good condition. Tee matts are all in need of replacement & there is no good grass area to tee off from. Great course to work on your short game.or for beginners to learn the game. Personnel were are very friendly. Recommend using a discounted reservation site will save you a lot of money. Also has a driving range and a nice chip & bunker practice area.
