Why must it be this way?
Why is it that in a place that has the climate to play golf 365 days a year, the local golf courses are in such poor shape? Huge patches of dirt, little to no grass in the "Fairway" , bunkers that are hard as rock, etc.? In all the times I have played this course, I have never seen a single person working on the course. Not one. The only way you would ever know people work on the course is that the pins change position. From 3 paces from the back to 3 paces from the front. It's really a shame to see golf courses put in the minimum effort, yet always try squeeze every nickel they can from the players. What's next, coin operated ball washers?
Fairway is poor condition
Fairway condition is not that good.
Green is good

I like the playing pace.
Fairway Condition is so so.
Decent Fairways Excellent Greens
A nice course overall. Fairways could have been better, but not horrible. Greens were excellent. Price is great for this course. The pace was excellent until I caught up to the back nine players, but that was not until the the 16th hole. Overall very nice.
The great things about this course is that the starter ask you not to tee off on the first hole until the group has reached the putting green. We had to wait on maybe one hole on the front nine mind you I was a part of a foursome that had three people walking. The greens were really soft and somewhat slow, I had about three approach shots plug into the green. Overall happy with the day and pace of play. Could definitely use so,em,ore water on the course throughout the eighteen holes but then again we have restrictions on the watering of grass. I think you’ll be happy with the day here playing 18
Decent course, but had to share the cart!
I heard good things about the course, but we’re not enthused. I were a single player, but had to share the cart with another player I didn’t know. Not what I suspected and wanted. First time experience that as a single player. The course is ok, but I do like the Encino course better. I got a good deal, so for the money, it was a decent round of golf.
Pretty Nice
The course was in pretty nice shape. The greens were excellent. I just wish players would repair the greens. I found myself make four or five repairs on every hole. The people who never repair the greens are the ones who complain the most about the conditions on them.. why are there no marshals on the courses anymore? That would help the pace a lot.
Because we have had a drought for 10 years. Even though the city reclaims water for use on golf courses and public parks, it hasn’t rained for so long in any consistent manner and the temperatures have been above average at the same time, very warm and dry weather, it is what it is. And then the economy collapsed in 2008, so that was the first big drive in higher prices, which also reduced the number of golfers playing. And then we just had the pandemic which also messed everything up with people not allowed to work. And then the recent inflation raised prices. All the public courses have been better days when money and water was in abundance during the heydays. As long as we get some rains, the courses will be better. The bunkers are another story though
