Golfer Reviews
Great walking course
For about the same price as most wineries in Napa Valley charge to sip a few wines, I suggest all wine country visitors give this 9-hole gem a personal taste of their hooks, slices, tops, shanks and skulls. Its a great course to walk and the staff is friendly and professional.
Seriously though, this is great little tract surrounded by vines and less than a mile from some of the finest restaurants in the world (I'll give my review of the French Laundry on another site). It won't break the bank and offers golfers of all ages and skill levels a chance to use more than a few clubs in the bag. Save about a $100 on your Yountville lunch tab and try the cheeseburger on the outdoor deck .
It is a relatively short course with many challeging features
The par three water hole scares most average golfers. The first hole leads to many lost balls if one cannot carry a second shot to the green. Another par three has two large sand trap magnets that require good distance control. It is fun for golfers of all abilities.
great course for any money!
Great course for any value. The greens are always nice and with multible tees these nine hole can play vary different. One of the best nine hole courses in the bay area!
This course has a great layout with nice views of the Napa Valley

Great for a 9 hole setup
I was torn between rating this course a 3 or 4, and eventually decided that as a 9 hole venue it is superior to its peer 9 hole courses. Practice facilities are good, the restaurant is great, and the course provides some challenges if played from the blacks. I love Vintner's and have played it since it opened, but I do consider it a tune-up course or an aftternoon "laid back" golf destination. If you are looking for a challenge and top-notch conditions then play Eagle Vines or Silverado.
Great value in the Napa Valley. friendly staff.
A great Sunday afternoon 9-er. The wife sits on the patio reads and sips and then it's out to a fabulous restaurant in Napa Valley. A easy, flat walk, with water, tight par threes. Sometimes a wedding stops you with # 9 the altar.
Always rewarding
My score does not reflect how much I enjoy this course. it has its challenges and rewards. And most of the condition issues of years past have been addressed.
