I’m sure that if you play this course from the wrong tees you will find it both challenging and frustrating. I can see where people get nervous with the placement of condos and homes so close to the teeing areas .You will definitely need to play it more than once so you can know your way around. The greens are the best I have found in the Venice area . We did play from the correct tees and had a great time and can’t wait to play again

Good Course!
Overall great experience. Good condition, No printed layout of couse, so confusing for a first- timer. Luckily, our twosome was paired with another twosome who had played the course previously. The electronic map and scoring system in the cart was too confusing for a first- timer.

Since the developer wanted to maximize golf course views, too many units are planned to line some of the fairways.
There are several midrise condo building that line the firways and create a visual block
Lots of building construction
If you enjoy seeing hundreds of condos being built extremely close to the tee boxes and many fairways, this is your course. The communities being built surrounding the course, once completed, will make this course feel like you're in a tunnel. Overall the course was in very good condition, very fast greens, and fun to play. Maybe 10 years down the road it will look better

greens fast 10 10.5 on stimp roll true.
greens are hard still play short roll on, unless you spin it alot. Greens are immense in size sometimes 3 to 5 club difference, front to back.
Many tee choices. Have to play once to know where to hit ,,, or pay attention to the gps . Alot of doglegs, and forced carries. Links style with alot of water and uneven lies in the fairways. will definitely return.
A must play for a new course.
They’ve really amped up the amenities
We hadn’t played here in a while and were really impressed with the progress they’ve made to the facilities. Pro shop is nicely finished and the tiki bar is excellent!
And they’re winding down on the home construction so not as many distractions. Looking to go back soon!
