Saddlebrook Resort - Cypress/Pine

2 great courses to choose from..we played the Palmer amazing challenge in fact on the day too much of a challenge and it beat me up a bit......so enjoyable

It’s a nice course,But at the premium they’re charging to be competitive with other local high end golf courses isn’t justified. Saddle Brooke needs some updating. Note , if you decide to stop at the range Which is located by the entrance, before checking in, they will try to charge you an extra five dollars dock even though it range balls were included. Over all I would go back but nothing special to see here

Palmer course was in great shape. Stay in play and in short stuff. Greens ran nice. Saddlebrook course greens are f Ed. Wish this place was busier. Overall, great round.

The Palmer Course was in great shape, love the layout. Greens were fine running 8/9, not beat up. Challenging layout, rough will penalize you. Saddlebrook greens were really rough! Staff is always friendly

Saddlebrook has made several cutbacks especially in the amenities department. Many of the greens were in rough shape. Hopefully the course will come back a little bit later but will need at least a couple of weeks before the greens are playable. We played the saddlebrook course not the palmer.

Fun course very challenging. Greens were nicely maintained. The rough was too deep!

We were able to play a day after 24 hours of rain. Cart path only rules applied with a lot of standing water. But play was light so we set our own pace. Having played Saddlebrook before we were thankful that the course was open. Even with the added time for walking across the fairways, the layout is still beautiful and challenging and a lot of fun to play.

I speak of the Palmer course for this review. I don’t understand how folks can give this course a bad review. I’m a low handicap player.and I was extremely impressed with this course. I also wish folks would understand the value of playing golf. People wonder why golf courses are in such bad shape. Where else can you go and be entertained for 4 to 5 hours for less then $50. Please don’t listen to the bad reviews and go enjoy this course. You won’t be disappointed.

Was told five to six greens were in need of repair. Found they were better than expected. Enjoyed my round.

The course was very poor confition. The greens were nice but the rough was too high and it was hard to find your ball. It was a nice layout but too long for a senior citizen.

The first issue was the golf cart that the brake did not work and Kyle the direct of golf new about after i complain ing about it. He stated they have issues with brakes. I informed Kyle about the ruff on the Palmer coarse that is so bad that you had to step on your ball to find it. I lost 7 balls in the ruff not DIAMONDS. He said because of rain he had to let it grow so it would not burn. I am good with that however, they should inform you at time of booking your tee time.
