Peacock Gap Golf Club
About
Peacock Gap Golf Club extends along the shores of San Pablo Bay, but it sits inland enough to avoid the fogginess of the coast and enjoy consistently sunny weather throughout the year. The course's layout has undergone many renovations over the years that have brought it to its current playability, including a new drainage system, new tee boxes, a reshaping of five of the greens, and relocation of bunkers. The golf course kept the classic features of its original layout though, such as the inviting fairways that still provide a challenge and the tricky greens that deceptively extend past where the player thinks they end. In addition to the course, Peacock Gap has also improved their practice facilities over the years. There is an all-grass driving range, two large practice greens, and a chipping green.

In great shape
Course is in really nice shape. Greens are firm and rolling fast but fair. Tee boxes and fairways are in nice shape and the sand in the bunkers is playabe. Close to 5hr rd on a Sun, packed, was to be expected and better than it could have been. PG is in good shape and would def play again.
Beautiful Course,
Well maintained
Quite Scenic..
Highly Recommend..
A Peacock isn't on the score card.
It is every nice course. The pro shop gentleman is very nice to me since I was the first time to play there. he introduced the practice location and .... I hope the score card have a pictures of the Peacock!
Heaviest wind of the year
Beautiful course, great pace even with the 65+mph gusts. Would enjoy playing this again under normal weather conditions. Made for some good laughs though! Super happy with an 88.
It's an average course with no outstanding features
Most of the sand traps have now been renovated, so they can be played from.
Highly recommend
Aside from the cover restrictions, this course offered a challenging yet rewarding golf outing. The pro shop was set up outdoors and the I was disappointed at the lack of merchandise. I was looking for a ball mark and towel to add to my collection and there were none in stock.
Once on the first tee however, my impression changed drastically. A beautiful course that takes full advantage of the surroundings, from the natural tree locations, the water and the wildlife. Scenery was stunning and surely added to the delight of the round.
I highly recommend this course for the average and advanced player.
Too many people!
We waited on every shot!
They were sending groups out every 8 min, so very crowded. There were several times we finished a hole just to find a group on the next tee that had not yet teed off. very slow. Teed off a little after 1pm and did not finish back nine. at the pace pace we were going, 5 hours + to finish a round! I like the course but will not return for a while.
It’s been awhile ...
Been a few years since I’ve played at Peacock Gap. I was able to get a late tee time at a good price knowing that I probably wouldn’t be able to get a whole round in. The pace of play was fair and as I expected, ran out of light on the 15th green. (A shame since I was looking forward to the 16th par 3 over water). Only issue I had was with some new golfers that didn’t know proper etiquette. Hit a couple of balls right at us without calling out “fore” (one time while we weren’t even on the green on a par 3). Course conditions were fine (wet #11 fairway that was cart path only, but wasn’t marked off as such. A warning popped up on the cart, but after one of us had already drove onto it). I will definitely comeback if I can find another deal at an earlier time.
