Peacock Gap Golf Club
About
Peacock Gap Golf Club extends along the shores of San Pablo Bay, but it sits inland enough to avoid the fogginess of the coast and enjoy consistently sunny weather throughout the year. The course's layout has undergone many renovations over the years that have brought it to its current playability, including a new drainage system, new tee boxes, a reshaping of five of the greens, and relocation of bunkers. The golf course kept the classic features of its original layout though, such as the inviting fairways that still provide a challenge and the tricky greens that deceptively extend past where the player thinks they end. In addition to the course, Peacock Gap has also improved their practice facilities over the years. There is an all-grass driving range, two large practice greens, and a chipping green.

Great Marin course
Peacock Gap is a fantastic course, easy to walk.
I highly recommend this course.
Decent course to play. Terrible customer service.
The course is in fairly good shape and they just put new greens in. Good value for the price. Give it a try if you haven’t.
Read some of the reviews, staff customer service here is bad. Some of their staff are not helpful or know how to do their job at all.
Don’t let a few bad staff spoil your fun though. Decent course to play.
Peripheral fairways high grass
The grass on the periphery of some of the holes should be cut for when balls land there accidentally one should be able to find them; under present conditions it becomes futile to even try to find them.
Peacock Gap is good value
Course is in good condition even after recent torrential rain. Staff is helpful and friendly. Golf instructors are very good. I highly recommend them.
Great day at Peacock!
My girlfriend and I played yesterday and while the course had a tournament going on ahead of us we were able to complete the round in just under 5 hours. Staff was great, $1 Oysters were as well afterwards at the restaurant.
Fun day, we’ll definitely be back!
Beautiful course, not too intimidating for newbies
First time on this golf course and I'm sure won't be the last time. The course is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are friendly.
Bad shape
Course is in bad shape. Every sand trap is cement with weeds. Every green is sanded. Every rough is weeds
All great usually. Course very wet, bunkers in places were ponds. It will be great when it dries out.
Generally a good solid course
I’ve been playing Peacock since the 80s. It has had it’s ups and downs and right now (this last two years)it’s the best that I have ever seen. In spite of the rain this winter and spring they have maintained it as well as could be expected. It’s a good walkable course
Deperate need to mow
The grass near fringes around the greens and the roughs was ridiculously long. Lost about 8 balls from near misses. I'm not talking about wild errand shots, but 4 or 5 feet into the rough or just off the greens. Impossible to see a ball even if standing over it because the grass was nearly a foot long. Pace of play was great though.
Course doesn’t drain well! Totally understandable
$77 w/cart
Cart path only
But the cart would register and tell us on the monitor (pls return to cart path, ) although we stayed on the cart path. So we literally had to drive In Reverse for 2 holes before they finally gave us another. Would not recommend for winter golf.
Saturday
Cart path only. Never waited to hit a shot all 18 holes. Cool layout with couple nice par 3s with water carry. Nice carts with state of art GPS. Great driving range and practice facilities $1.00 myagi oysters on saturdays
Convenient and Fun Golf
My sons and I played Peacock Gap golf course recently. The course was in very good condition, staff is always very friendly and the price was very affordable. We live close by so it was also nice to play a local course. We will be back!
Course is in great shape. Many of the bunkers have been reworked with better drainage so are playable and not small ponds.
