San Ramon Golf Club

The course has a fun layout of different shaped holes. It’s a 3.5 course mostly flat for the area it’s in so if you have bad knees like me it wasn’t to hard even though we played after a big rain and it was cart path only. Overall fun course for a reasonable price. I’d go back again!

Greens were punched and sanded less than a week ago. Course is in decent shape for a local muni considering the drought and how much play the course typically gets.

The condition and layout of the course were good, however pace of play was abysmal!! It took us (3 players) 5 hrs to complete the round. This is completely unacceptable for a relatively Easy layout. Under 4 hrs for this course should be the standard.

We had 2 foursomes in front of us that appeared to be at the beginner level of play. While this is fine, the bigger issue is they wasted time by doing such things as waiting for the green to clear on par 4/5s when they were at least 200 yds out and there would be no way they could reach the green. And, most of the fellas in these 4 somes would almost always hit 2 tee shots. This despite their first balls dribbled approximately 100 yards in front of them (no lost balls).

For the love of god, while I have no issue with beginners on any course, these folks need to be mindful of keeping pace, the rules and courtesy.

the course was in good shape. greens were fast. I had to fix many divots left by other golfers.
