Candler Park Golf Course

Expect it to be fairly fast paced because there are other beginners eager to hit the green.

Plenty of parking in front and friendly staff. Great for walking and improving as a beginner.

Expectations weren’t high, it’s $10 to play after all. But candler park is as bare bones as you get. Walking only, dirt patches on all greens, no signage anywhere. Love a cheap little par 3…but there are better options nearby for that.

It’s a good 9 hole course to walk - the greens are atrocious and bunkers aren’t kept up but the grass is beautiful out there and mowed well. Course layout is not the best and balls will constantly be flying close to you but you get used to it. Great for practice!

I learned to play golf here about 25 years ago. So, I do hold a great affinity to this course. However, still the best 9 holes in the city. Quick fun 9 holes for cheap that gives you a variety of shot options. Just cant beat a walk and a round here!!

Bang for your buck course. Good par 3 and chipping practice but the greens are worse than a backyard. Be prepared for your ball to roll and keep rolling.

The reviews complaining about the course conditions are laughable. It's a 9 hole, walk only municipal course for $10 - you're delusional if you're comparing it to a $30-$80 private course.

The course has grass, bunkers, and holes - everything you need for a round whether you're looking for something quick or learning the game of golf.

This was probably the worst course I’ve ever played. Terribly slow, horrible conditions, and if you can even call them “greens” we’re essentially concrete. Absolutely disrespectful to the game of golf. Gave up after 3 holes because I was getting worse the longer I played.
