Miss the back 9, but glad we still have the front 9
Enjoyed Charlie Yates with my son Saturday. Enjoyed it very much, a real variety of holes and a beautiful setting. The range wasn’t great, better to be off the mats full-time….but the range was nothing like the course. The course is well maintained and a real fun test.

Such a fun course!
I love Yates and play it 20 or so times a year. It's a great Rees Jones layout--tees for every skill level, short enough to not be super stressful, perfect for a quick round. They've put a lot of work into the course of late to improve drainage and work on specific tee boxes and greens and it shows. It's in great condition right now. A few more tee boxes remain to be improved (will #4 ever get its back tees back?... doesn't the back tee on #8 deserve a little love?), but take this lovely little muni for a weekday spin. You won't regret it.

Course in great shape
Course is in great shape. Cart path only helps. Pace of play super fast for the weekend.

A great course to get out and play
Can’t find a better location around us for what you get. Some holes feel like they’re on top of each other and balls will go flying, but aside from that absolutely no complaints!

Always a good round!
Charlie Yates is always is great playing condition. Staff is great! A little pricey for a week day round. but can usually catch a hot deal for a reasonable price!

Slow and messy, waste of money
I have played Charlie Yates before and left yesterday wondering if they have new ownership. The course was in terrible shape, with dry, patchy fairways and uneven greens. The areas around the holes needed brush clearing and the Tee boxes were dirt. And the pace of play was ridiculously slow. I saw no marshalls.The last time I played there this was not the case. Charlie Yates used to be part of East Lake but obviously not anymore. And I feel at $30 for nine holes on a "Hot Deal" I paid too much. At least the weather was nice. I will not be back.

Nice little par 3
This place is nice to work on your iron game 9 holes with a few par 4s mixed in . Course condition was good across the board lay out is nice with some senic views i wish they had a full 18 holes other then that good place to sneak in a quick round price
