AMAZING EXPERIENCE
I chose to play Sugar Creek on 4/26 because of how close it was to my residence. Most courses I’ve played in the Atlanta area are extremely narrow, with tight greens, and no room for error… Sugar Creek was long and open enough for an amateur golfer to really enjoy the round. The greens were in great condition, the course was challenging, but I was still able to go low! I lost my Apple Watch and returned today where I was met by a friendly security guard and 3-4 other members of Sugar Creek staff. They all assisted me with tracking it down and we ended up finding it out on the course! Overall, it was an amazing experience and a truly enjoyable round of golf. I can’t wait to go back!

Course getting green
With the unusually warm weather recently, the course has started to "green up". The result is slightly slower greens and fairway areas that are no longer dormant. Except for the slow play due to crowded conditions for a Monday, it was a great day to play golf.

Punched greens
Nice course however they should offer a discounted rate for punched greens.

Fun round!
Course was in decent shape for late Feb. Greens were in great shape and quick, but grass was sparse in several tee boxes.Staff very friendly. Rained the day before and there was a good bit of standing water, but fairways were dry otherwise. Pace was great and good value for the money!

Cow Pasture
Course is in horrible condition..water everywhere. Pot holes everywhere..tee boxes were terrible and had holes dug by workers in the fairway with no signs..

Swamp Creek
Good place to go if this is your first time playing golf, friendly staff, cheap range balls, nice little practice areas.
The greens here are actually pretty good for the price of the course. Unfortunately it was cart path only and that worsens pace of play. Can’t blame them though, the course is holding so much water. Big flooded sections, so so muddy everywhere. Some of the bunkers are pools.
The layout has so much potential. They need to take out a couple thousand trees and open it up, fix the drainage and you have yourself a decent golf course.

Good winter golf
Conditions remain good for winter golf. Greens are still medium fast but sometimes hard to read because of the grain. Fairways were soft with only one fairway muddy because of recent rain (drainage issue). The biggest challenge was the 10-15 wind with little roll in the fairways. Always a challenge but enjoyable.
