First Time Back Since it Reopened - Better Than Ever
This was my main course when I last played regularly in the early aughts. Today, it was all the goodness I remembered, plus a better clubhouse and pub area. The place is built in floodplain, so drainage after a big storm is always an issue. A few of the low lying areas were muddy enough to affect play. But the greens were smooth and true, the fairway is tight and challenging, and for some reason very few fellow golfers today.
I’ll be back.

Course was too wet, almost on every hole . Needs lots of work. Debris in the middle of fairway on 15 hole across all of fairway. Shameful. Will not go back until they repair the course.
Wet Conditions
Course needs drainage solutions. Standing water in 90% of the fairways on a dry day is not good…
Nice course for the money
For the most part, this is a nice course for us cheap golfers. :) the greens were in really good shape as was most of the course. One fairway on the back nine needs some serious work but overall, things look great. One thing I loved: staff was great!
Great value
Course was in pretty good shape. Appeared as though attempts were being made to repair damaged areas. Greens were almost all in really nice condition. Only issue was starter while nice didn't seem to have good control of time and when people were going off. Had a nice day though and can't beat the price.
Nice Course
Enjoy playing Sugar Creek. Fairway in good condition as well as the greens. I will play here again next time in ATL.
Greens, tees, and fairways are in excellent condition. A great value.
Course upgrade looks good
I had not played this tight track for a long time. The last time I played it had been going down. The course looks well-kept and the greens are pristine. Keep it in the fairway and enjoy your round.
Sugar Creek
Grounds crew is making this a really good course! Greens are rolling good! Still a tough course but in good shape!
Greens in fantastic shape
I've played courses that were twice as expensive and these greens compete. Fairways were rough but greens made up for it.
Great Improvements!
I really enjoyed playing this course. The staff was friendly and there was on course amenities. This course has really improved since my last visit a year ago.
Very good greens
Course was great, greens were awesome, I will be back to play again soon
