I have been playing Sugarcreek since I came to Atlanta and the course is in awful shape. I do understand that the bad weather in the fall and winter along with the construction of the new trail has also contributed to the current conditions. I truly hope to see some improvements soon.
Horrible
This was the worst course I had ever played in my life. Mud everywhere no grass on fairways. Greens need to be redone. This course needs to be closed down and renovated. It is a nice track for golf but grounds crew need serious help. Only paid $17 but will never come back!!

We apologize for the current conditions. With the flooding we have had, it has hurt the grass. We are working as hard as we possibly can and expect the course to turn back around when we get some warm weather/grass growth. We have rates low right now to counteract the conditions. We hope you can come back and give us another shot in the summer.

OMG
THIS COULD BE A GREAT COURSE BUT IT HOLDS EVERY BIT OF WATER THAT FALLS ON IT.NO DRAINAGE SYSTEM WHATS SO EVER!.FAIEWAYS GREEENS AND EVERYTHING ELSE WAS IN TERRIBLE SHAPE.CLOSE IT DOWN GET A CREW IN THERE FIX IT UP AND OPEN BACK UP IN ABOUT A YEAR TO GIVE EVERYTHING A CHANCE TO BUILD BACK UP.

too much rain
course is not in very good shape because of all the rain over the last few months. it doesn't drain very well and the putting green are in bad shape. I would not recommend this course at this time

We hate that you felt you wouldn't recommend the course at this time. Like you said, with the recent rains, everything is wet. We are working hard to get the course back to better conditions. Hopefully the sun cooperates with us as well...

Bad golf course. Need to close
This is one of this worse golf course I have ever played. I will not recommend anyone to play this course.
The staff was not truthful.
I make sure to tell all my golf friends, do not go to this course.
The course is a hazardous.

Wasted Day Off
The course was in bad condition.
Tried to get food at the turn and there was no one to serve us. I will never play this course again.

Terrible greens
The greens was absolutely terrible. All of them ! Don't like the price fool you it should have been lower because of the condition.

Going down hill fast
I've always enjoyed this track. The layout is an older course & has a lot of character. This is the worst condition that I've seen for a long time. The fairways looked like they hadn't been cut in at least 1 or 2 weeks. The bunkers were hard pan or filled with water. The greens probably 3-4 days since being cut & were disease ridden on some. It seems like the course is not improving. It's a shame because it's sister course Mystery Valley is one of the best within 30 minutes of downtown Atlanta. The course definitely needs a lot of TLC on a regular basis.

Not worth the time!
Save your money. Even with golf now discount, it was not worth it. Bunkers filled with water, patchy greens and broken cart paths. Dekalb County is throwing away money

challenging
Course layout was pretty good. Not a long course but good distances for most holes. Has seemed to me to be "sneaky challenging. more challenging than expected. nice course but most greens need work. ruff could be cut very uneven. Still under those conditions managed to have a pretty good time. will return.

This course needs a lot of work
You couldn't tell the fairways from the rough , 16 out of 18 greens were in terrible condition , But this could be a beautiful golf course if they just put a little money into it . It has a very nice layout . Step up and take care of the course or sell it

Embarrassing
Sugar Creek has an incredible layout with so much potential to be an incredible place to play. However, the greens are embarrassing. Why does a course at this time of the year have weeds thriving on their greens?

The conditions of the course were not good. Grass needed mowing, greens turning to dirt. Tee boxes not in good condition. Cart path on need of repair.

Everything was bad from top to bottom. Woman in shop was friendly...everything else sucks!!!

Enjoyed myself
My golf partners advised me that the tee boxes and fair ways are hard as rocks most of the time. Played the day after it rained, so that wasn't the case today. The course was challenging to me and I can't wait to play it again.

The guy in the golf shop was on his phone for a around minted before me decided to check us out. They're were not enough carts obviously for all to use and they did not provide drink and food service throughout the 19 holes.

long wait
had to wait 45 min. for a cart, which had already gone 18 and was dieing by the 8th hole. tee's off 30 min late and could only play 9 due to slow pace
