The greens and the tees generally were well maintained except for a couple of greens that had active broken sprinklers that flooded portions of the greens. The sand traps were growing weeds 9 to 12 inches tall in spots, the "fairways" looked as thought most had not been mowed in at least a month. The few fairways that had been mowed had large clumps of cut grass. Finding any ball hit into the fairway VERY difficult! (We lost two or three balls well hit into the fairway.)

The course can and should be a GREAT place to play for all level golfers BUT

There are no signs of a grounds keeper from tee box to greens just horrible no sand in any traps full of standing water and debris the fairway is thicker than most roughs and if you find your ball in the rough good luck getting out especially around the greens was in a word disappointed no it wasn't my first time so I know it's great course being neglected

The course was in terrible shape and the staff should be ashamed om themselves. The grass surrounding the greens and other areas was just atrocious. I will not be going back. They really need to step up on the maintenance for the course and not invest all of the dollars into the clubhouse.

I have played this course over last several years. This is by far the worst condition I've ever seen. I lost several balls in the fairway due high grass. On some holes there was no difference between the rough and the fairway. The fairway had not been cut in weeks! This course should be shut down until get lawn mowers. I will never play it again. Stay away!

Course is very poorly maintained! Losing balls in deep rough happens. Losing balls in deep fairways should NEVER happen!!! I played in the winter and it was bad but I figured it was just not upkept in winter. Now in summer it's still bad. Hasn't been mowed in weeks!

Let me preface this by saying they did not lie to me. I asked what kind of shape they were in and they said the greens were in good shape - and that they were. But that was it. Everything else was in horrible condition. Most tee boxes were overgrown. Those that were not were bare. The fairways were the worst I have ever seen. Several of my playing companions lost their balls in the middle fairway. The grass was 3-4 inches deep with weeds ha high as 6 inches to a foot. Two of my playing partners actually left after 10 holes. One partner and I persevered and the back 9 was better, but still bad. One of our group was told that they did not have any mowers on site and that on those occasions they did mow, a mower had to be retrieved from another DeKalb course.

I am an avid golfer and I believe that this was tied for the worst golf experience I have ever had. It was even more disappointing because this is the course I played on when I was first learning the game. It was tragic to see that it had fallen into such disrepair.

Don't waste your money.

The maintenance was EXTREMELY POOR, the fairway and even the tee box was ridiculous...grass was at least two to three inches high or more.

This course was pretty pool in my opinion. Cart paths were in bad shape and constantly shared. The green were in decent shape but the rough was horrible. Nearly lose your ball every time if you do not hit in in the fairway.

Staff was very friendly though. Good experience with them and the facilities. Just wish the course itself was in better shape and taken better care of.

Pretty much on par with the cost.

Where to begin. I literally would not play this course if it was free. Worst 4 hours to spend on a golf course. This is honestly the worst course I've ever played for a multitude of reasons:

The fairways get mowed monthly. That's generous. The whole course is rough

The pace of play is AWFUL. What kind of course doesn't have a ranger to monitor pace of play? One group held up the entire tee sheet to the point people stopped playing. When I called the "pro" shop to inquire about getting someone out there to speed up, they didn't even know what a ranger was.

The course is jampacked onto very few acres. So easy to hit a tee shot through the fairway. If you're smart enough to just play an iron, finding your ball in the rough (which is actually the fairway) is hard.

Don't waste your time at this place and don't be fooled by the cheap rates. They are that cheap for a reason. I would love a refund but based on how the course looks and how mad all the golfers appeared, my $20 bucks should be used for some lawnmower gasoline.

Fairways still need some work, greens were ok.

I really wanted this course to be good. Used to play here a lot but cannot justify it after this outing. Tee boxes have NO grass on them. Greens were in OK shape. Various species of grass in the fairway, most of it qualifies as weeds.

On the plus side they have built a great clubhouse for the community. Hopefully they can put some funding into the course.

We played in the afternoon, it was $20/rd with cart. It's not perfect, but overall I would consider the condition very good for the price. It is a shorter course with a fun layout. Quieter area. Staff was excellent. I will definitely be going back.

I have been playing Sugarcreek since I came to Atlanta and the course is in awful shape. I do understand that the bad weather in the fall and winter along with the construction of the new trail has also contributed to the current conditions. I truly hope to see some improvements soon.

This was the worst course I had ever played in my life. Mud everywhere no grass on fairways. Greens need to be redone. This course needs to be closed down and renovated. It is a nice track for golf but grounds crew need serious help. Only paid $17 but will never come back!!

THIS COULD BE A GREAT COURSE BUT IT HOLDS EVERY BIT OF WATER THAT FALLS ON IT.NO DRAINAGE SYSTEM WHATS SO EVER!.FAIEWAYS GREEENS AND EVERYTHING ELSE WAS IN TERRIBLE SHAPE.CLOSE IT DOWN GET A CREW IN THERE FIX IT UP AND OPEN BACK UP IN ABOUT A YEAR TO GIVE EVERYTHING A CHANCE TO BUILD BACK UP.

course is not in very good shape because of all the rain over the last few months. it doesn't drain very well and the putting green are in bad shape. I would not recommend this course at this time

Good place to play. Will be back. Great fun for all levels

This is one of this worse golf course I have ever played. I will not recommend anyone to play this course.
The staff was not truthful.
I make sure to tell all my golf friends, do not go to this course.
The course is a hazardous.

The course was in bad condition.
Tried to get food at the turn and there was no one to serve us. I will never play this course again.
