Sugar Creek Golf & Tennis Club

Sugar Creek really is a solid course in Panthersville. Layout is fun, the greens are in great shape, and it is surprisingly affordable for hat you get.

Clubhouse and amenities are lackluster, but it's great for what it is.

Really good value for the cost. Conditions were solid, but you can tell the course struggles with drainage so I wouldn’t go unless it’s been dry for a few days. Staff was friendly. The pace was good, finished in 4:15 on a Saturday afternoon. It’s not a super interesting layout or anything, but it’s a pretty piece of land and lots of wildlife (deer, hawks, etc).

Really enjoyed the woodsy 18 hole layout. Greens were immaculate, if not a bit slower than I’m used to. A good mix of tight driving holes that require precision and wide open ones where you can let it rip. Pace was a bit slow due to a group ahead of me not offering to let me play through. Not sure what that was all about. That being said, i walked 18 and carried my bag in a little over 4 hours. Great value for the price,

Greens were a little slow but probably because of the summer sun. Prepare for CPO. Staff was top-notch.

Sugar Creek is a great golf course for the price. Cart times are usually slow closer to weekends and late in the week, but the earlier you go the better. Greens here used to be super slow, now they are perfect. Fairways are good with some patchy spots. Easily able to lose your ball here, not very open with some challenging dog legs and a creek running through the end of a couple fairways. Overall I okay this course all the time and like it a lot. I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking for a cheap round with a good cart and solid course conditions.

I have been playing Sugarcreek for the last 10 years and I can honestly say I have never seen the course in better shape new cards with the best looking GPS I’ve ever seen the greens are great. The greens were excellent shape. (A few bare spots in the edges of fairways and some tee boxes not in best shape but what the heck, this is a punlic course.) Carts are new w latest interactive technology of course layout, excellent hole graphics and gps yardage adding enjoyment to our round!

The course provides anyone with a great challenge. Narrow fairways and blind greens makes the golfer to truly evaluate and execute their shots

They really have put money and work into the golf course

Sugar Creek has been greatly renovated and restored. The course was grossly neglected for years but is in the best condition I have ever seen it.

The day I played was after two days of heavy rain so the greens hadn’t been cut yet which made putting tough. That being said you could tell that when the greens are cut this course is a tremendous value.

I do wish they had more choices for concessions in the clubhouse. That was the only real downside to the experience. The staff was very friendly and responsive.

Overall I would give SugarCreek 4.5 stars out of five. I would have given 5 stars if they had hot dogs or sandwiches or something to snack on other than chips and cookies.
