I have been playing Sugarcreek for the last 10 years and I can honestly say I have never seen the course in better shape new cards with the best looking GPS I’ve ever seen the greens are great. Enjoyed the round!
The greens were excellent shape. (A few bare spots in the edges of fairways and some tee boxes not in best shape but what the heck, this is a punlic course.) Carts are new w latest interactive technology of course layout, excellent hole graphics and gps yardage adding enjoyment to our round!
Great challenge
The course provides anyone with a great challenge. Narrow fairways and blind greens makes the golfer to truly evaluate and execute their shots
They really have put money and work into the golf course
Great Value
Sugar Creek has been greatly renovated and restored. The course was grossly neglected for years but is in the best condition I have ever seen it.
The day I played was after two days of heavy rain so the greens hadn’t been cut yet which made putting tough. That being said you could tell that when the greens are cut this course is a tremendous value.
I do wish they had more choices for concessions in the clubhouse. That was the only real downside to the experience. The staff was very friendly and responsive.
Overall I would give SugarCreek 4.5 stars out of five. I would have given 5 stars if they had hot dogs or sandwiches or something to snack on other than chips and cookies.
Close to 5 stars
Everything about the course is very good. A little more growth to the grass will help to get 5 stars. The only blemish is the condition of the cart paths. They need a lot of work.
Wetlands Golf
Great course layout, wonderful staff, the only issue is this course doesn't have a good draining system. After almost a week of no rain the course was extremely wet puddles on several cart paths. some fairways were completely mud covered. When this course is dry it is great.
