Augusta Municipal Golf Course - The Patch

I’ve been playing this course since I moved to Augusta and the course keeps getting better and better. The fairways and greens are in great condition. Many of the tee boxes are being rebuilt but that’s not a big deal. There are lots of challenging shots and equally challenging hole locations/greens. My biggest complaint here is pace of play. Several players do not let smaller or faster groups play through, and some take more than one shot knowing there is a group waiting behind. On the other side, I have often gone as a single and just joined a group and have met some great people doing that . If you want a course that requires an accurate short game for a low price, this is it.

I always enjoy playing this course. It's in the best condition it's ever been in. Love the new carts.

This course is improving everytime I play here this is one of my favorite courses I am glad to see the work they are putting into it

Another day at my favorite course here in Augusta. Staff is great and very friendly as well as the fellow golfers. Always leave with a new friend.

I moved away from Augusta about 5 years ago and I would never play the Patch. I heard that the course was in good shape and I'm glad I played it. Grass was everywhere!! Kudos to the staff!!

Played Augusta municipal for the first time in a few months today. Joined a guy on the first tee the group in front of us was at least two holes away. Was walking off of number one green when some guy in a utility cart that works for the golf course pulled up on # 2 tee box and started playing. This guy hit three different balls each shot. After 2 hours and 25 minutes I quit after hope 8. The course is not in the best of conditions but added that the last three times I’ve played this course I’ve had problems with people that work there I will never play there Again

Greens are small and mostly elevated. There was a 5some playing that really slowed down the pace of play.

I have been playing The Patch for a long time and today I thought I would try it out. The fairways and greens were better than I have seen them in a while. The tee boxes need work but overall the course was in pretty good shape. Still a little high priced but I played in less than 2 hours so that was a plus

My friends and I play here quite often due to the proximity to the house and the cheapness of the deals. Usually, I would rate the course as being sub par in multiple areas but however, the last two times I’ve played here, the greens and fairways were extremely nice. I’m glad to see they are working hard to make improvements.
