Hot, but good
Temps were in the mid 90's today. Course was dry, but not too dry. Balls rolled well in faiway. Greens were in good shape as well. Good value for the money today.
Receptive, fun and demanding.
I started hunting for a challenging last minute tee time and was fortunate to find Woodmont in Canton,GA.
Conditions were coming in great after our recent heavy and persistent rain. A lot of courses in the area are playing catchup to get into full form but not Woodmont. Bunkers were well placed and prepped, greens rolled true, and pace was phenomenal with our foursome, warts and all, finishing in under 4 hours on a crowded Sunday morning.
If I had to point out a drawback, and only if I had to and played there frequently, it would be the size and proxity of the practice areas to parallel fairways for the range and a set of active tennis courts for the chipping and trap green.
Woodmont value
After says of.torrential rain the course was in food condition with the exception of the range being closed and cart path only. I haven't played Woodmont in years and love the layout and greens condition.
Woodmont is an excellent golf course
A great layout. and well kept up. It was challenging, but a fun course to play. Definitely a course I would want to play again.
Challenging, but fun
We LOVED this course. It is well laid out to be challenging, but still fun with all of the undulations. It was in dormant condition, but well maintained. We’d like to see it during the growing season to see how much more beautiful it would be. If we are back in the area and the weather is good, we’d like to play again.
Woodmont
Course was great. The menu looked great, but the food was cold and tasted so-so, at best.
Fun course.
One of the best values in the Atlanta area. Always enjoy this challenging, but fair course. Friendly and welcoming staff. Always good.
Great shape
Greens are fantastic and super fast. Course generally in great shape for Nov. twosome in front of us was a little slow but the marshalls addresses on the third hole and they immediately sped up
5 hour round
Sanded greens, packed foursomes and I don’t think a single golfer could break 80. Retirement course. Too dad to drive I will not go back. Beautiful day miserable course management
Great layout and in good condition
third time playing, great layout, particularly the back nine. fast greens, in great shape, fairly open, with challenging elevational changes. grabbed a hot deal for $44/heaf. definately coming back!
Straight up good golf course
The course is in very good shape, with the necessary aeration long healed. Greens are true, fairways fast, rough reasonable but penal. Nice layout where every hole (except one) is right in front of you. Highly recommend and the staff was great too.
Keep it in the short grass
The rough is like a penalty. If you can find your ball (it's deep), getting it out and to the green will be a challenge.
Condition of the greens was very good. Rolled true.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a beautiful day on the course.
Great Place to Play Golf
Very nice course that is well kept. Greens had been aerated, but were recovering quite nicely. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
