College Park Municipal Golf Course

Course itself is good for a 9-hole course. The 1-star is due to the staff. Incredibly rude and the marshals have a huge attitude problem. They only patrol the first 2 holes and hassle people without checking on how backed up the course is. Multiple times trying this course with very rude staff. I play regularly and know what a normal pace of play is. One time we had to wait almost 10 minutes while he yelled at a group of women on the green. A marshal should not be the one slowing everyone’s round and backing the course up.

A change in staff with people who care about the course and want the best for their customers would catapult this course into a hidden gem!

Course was in good condition, some challenging holes, just wish the greens were in better shape, slow putting greens.

The staff doesn’t open until after 8 even when their posted hours say they open at 7:30. They even show up to work after scheduled tee times, and their voicemail has been full for some time. Greens are in awful shape, and they filled in every single sand trap. The course layout is actually quite good and there are some truly challenging spots. If you miss the first green to the left, good luck getting it up that hill

Overall it is an okay course, but it isn’t really worth the money anymore. When the staff cared a little bit, it was worth it. But we will be going to other courses for the same money but better everything

It was very windy with gust up to 20 mph but only a couple of pars.

I know the course year around. It is the time of the year when it is hard to keep the grass at its good condition. The greens had some weeds and the surface was not at the best condition. For the recreational player like myself, the course was playable and good enough to have a relaxing few hours.

Twice in the last three months I’ve shown up to the course to play my booked tee time only to get rushed, hassled, and heckled by a large group taking part in some variety of event. The course sells tee times but also host school tryouts or tournaments. The staff does not disclose the event details when you make the tee time They start you on a random hole, the Marshall follows you around rushing your every shot while the event goers heckle you and hit balls into your group. Completely unplayable round of golf.
