College Park Municipal Golf Course

My daughter, son, and I are very competitive, but are golf novices and have never had a lesson! Needless to say, neither of us will be earning our golf pro card anytime soon! :D

Nonetheless, we had an awesome time and picked the perfect time to play. We were not rushed and didn’t hold up the foursome who were playing behind us...in fact, we left them a couple of holes behind us!

It had rained the night before, so the course was a little soft in places, but not bad at all... and the greens were excellent.

I’m investing in a pair of shoes for the kiddos, adding a few more clubs to my son’s set, and buying my daughter a set of her own.

We’ll definitely book more rounds and will move on to an 18-hole course, after we refine our game a bit more.

My second time playing here and we really enjoyed it again. We will definitely be playing here weekly.

Greta greens, fairways could be better but overall good course and good value for your money.

I want to play course again now that I know it a little better.

I wanted to like this course so much, especially as it is an historic course that has been around almost 100 years. However, the conditions were virtually unplayable. Fairways were tall and didn’t seems to be mowed, the greens on 2 and 3 were moved to the fairway due to total green replacement (not noted anywhere) and on top of that most of the greens are TINY (1/4-1/2 the size of normal greens. I should’ve suspected something for $17.50, but I was just hoping for a great deal. Alas, I was very disappointed. Don’t waste your time and spend a couple more bucks on a course with better conditions. Side note: the ONE staff member (which are apparently all volunteer due to the entire staff being laid off bc of the virus) that I encountered was incredibly friendly and wild DEFINITELY have me considering returning should conditions improve drastically.

I play a lot of golf at my private club. They are temp. Closes so I came out for a round. Great Staff, so friendly. Loved the experience!!!!

Fun course with serious improvements made over the last few months. Greens much better. They were sanded and now regularly rolled. Rough and grounds much better maintained. New clubhouse renovations including a nice working bar and big screen TV.

New staff is motivated and friendly. Some very enjoyable regular players and a great value. You can play 9 holes in an hour many days.

Give it a shot. You will like it.

Have played this course for 3 years and it is always fun but there are significant recent improvements.

New management has improved the greens and grounds dramatically. The greens are cut and rolled regularly and fairways good.. Rough and grounds improved. Big time remodeling of the clubhouse that now features a first class bar and Big Screen TV.. Very inexpensive and a great value.

You can play 9 holes in an hour many days. There is a fun, motivated staff and a great group of regular players if you want to join up with them. Plenty of fun personalities that show up daily. Quite a few retired military including Army and Marines. Many Delta and airport folks too.

Give it a try. You will be surprised and enjoy it.

Decent 9-hole practice course but geez, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The biggest thing keeping this from being a decent review is the incredible rudeness of the clubhouse staff. The old "gentleman" I believe named Ronald wakes up on the wrong side of the bed every morning and needs a lesson in decent human behavior. I've brought several friends and clients to this course due to its convenience to the airport and they all have commented on his brusque and snarky nature each and every time. What a loser. If you're looking for a quality golf experience go elsewhere, but it does offer excellent and challenging opportunities to fine-tune your Driver and long-iron game. The greens are in laughable shape but the fairways are well maintained. Decent driving range too. Looking forward to the upcoming overhaul and hopefully new management/ownership once the College Park Aerotropolis Master plan gets started. Come back in 3 years.

Historic College Park is a survivor. I've played this course about 10-12 years now, they owners and staff have continue to make this course a jewel that tucked away between the hustle and bustle of the The Worlds Bussiest Airport and the up and coming city of of College Park, Ga.

This is a fun long 9 hole course. Several par 4 and par 5 holes. No bunkers. Great course to swing away!

They allowed me to pay, but would not allow my son (who is old enough per the posted rules) and I to play. The Marshall was very rude, and the entire experience was negative. I'll play where I'm appreciated. I'll never return!

I spent a week in Atlanta on business. I played the course every evening for four straight evenings. I really had a nice time. It's a beautiful course. The staff was super friendly. The Yamaha carts looked brand new. If I go back to Atlanta I plan on playing this course as often as possible.
