Country Land Golf Course

Greens looked and played like they had not been mowed in weeks.

It’s a nice course, all of the staff are friendly and very nice. If the greens were better I’d play more there.

The greens are much improved from past rounds. The fairways are better than usual. They seem to have the sprinkler system back online.

This was my first time playing here in a couple of years. The greens were in rough shape. Don’t remember them being like that the previous times that I have played there. They did have some bare spots along the rough areas next to the fairways. Made it extra challenging when you got off the fairway. Overall we really enjoyed our round and had fun. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun round.

Course is in better condition, but pace of play has been horrible the last few times played. Never saw a Ranger the entire course of play while a twosome was holding up 3-4 groups.

Once the greens come in after their aeration, this will be a lot better. I know they had some issues with weeds, so it'll be great to see it after all their attention. I enjoy the mix of tight/target golf, but also being receptive to hitting bombs.

The course is the best I have seen it. They are trying to make the greens better but they are still very bumpy.

Played this course about 10 times over the last 5 years, so I have a decent point of reference. What once was a pretty decent unpretentious local course has really been let go. The greens are a mess, super bumpy and filled with poa grass. I’ve played other area courses this spring, and while they’re struggling with poa in their rough and fairways, no one has greens this bad. Rip them up and start over, or lower the greens fees to align with the conditions of the course.

Overall, we enjoyed it. The greens were not in great shape - grass was long and they were bumpy.

High up in the clouds, with an almost 360 degree view of the blue ridge mountain ridge line, and a breakfast Sammy on a tiny putting green ,overlooking it all. What a way to 'find the vibes before your round. Fairly open fairways with large quantities of trees interwoven into course play. Many hazards but the course plays often , forgiving and even seems to mercy those of us who often have to take two of the tee box. Greens need ALLOT OF WORK. Don't come here to putt. Guaranteed to please unless you are a stickler about greens being at least moderate. These aren't. Enjoyed greatly , will return. Wouldn't pay more than 50 until they fix the greens

No where did it say that the greens where punched and sanded. This should be listed on booking site especially if greens are virtually un puttable.
