On the 14th tee. Kind of a blind drive over a hill. Fun hole. Photo submitted by u000006907181 on 06/28/2019

Great value good for your short game
Playing this course 25 years.... Time for a refresh and repairs. Course played well greens are tough to stop on. O erall best value around
6 hr round
Pace of play was terrible and this course felt like someone’s farmland had recent been plowed. Started at 12:30pm and got to hole 13 by 4:30pm. Was tempted to ask for my money back but just won’t play there again.
Meh
The course is very meh. In my opinion, not worth the weekend rate I paid, but it’s a good course to just knock it around if you’re a hacker like me.
One random note: the carts are a disaster. I had one that kept stalling out the entire front nine and had to switch at the turn, and most carts I saw had either duct tape on the seats or holes in the windshields
Country Land
Would not recommend this course. Tee boxes are horrible, greens are decent, fairways are decent. Course is very close and I was almost hit 2 times just standing in fairways and tee boxes due to the compact design. There is not a driving range and the carts are old. 1-10 rating, this course is a 4 tops
Nice course. Friendly people
This is a short course but offers some nice challenges with uphill par 4s. And small greens.
I will be happy to play this course again
Overall value is good
Greens were very different hole to hole. Practice green was fast, first three holes like putting in the snow.
Schmidt Review: Country Land Golf Course
Story: So, here we go. My tee time 11:10AM, I arrive on the tee box at 11:00AM, at 11:05, five foursomes pull up, the starter abruptly tells us there was a member tournament this morning that started late, and literally said “They are more important than any of you”, so we waited. Keep in mind, these ‘members’ were probably 15-25 handicappers. Thus, what was said to be a brief set back, ended up having us officially tee of at 12:30PM. The time went by however, as we witnessed the starter actually curse out a paying customer who complained about the wait.
Pace of Play: I alone can walk 18 holes in about 2 hours and 35 minutes. In a twosome, we finished in 5 hours and 20 minutes, THE longest round of my life.
Food: the food was cheap, but as the chicken sandwich and burgers have patties slightly larger than my ball marker, I don’t think they’re worth the price.
Layout: many holes are parallel to one another, when you have groups of players that shank the ball on the other tee box, you are in the danger zone.
Conditions: eh, they did not do anything to make the course any better.
Staff: shocking, on one hand I have never witnessed a starter curse out customers, nor have I had an experience with such an abrasive starter, the man was brutally authoritative, pushing tee times back an hour, but when a group is terribly slow, he is no where in sight.
Golf with son
I took my 13th year old out to play on Dec 22. He is a beginner so we just wanted to enjoy the un-seasonal warm weather before celebrating Christmas. Course was packed but the marshals did a great job of spacing players bit we never felt rushed. It’s a very hilly course course. Course was in great shape considering it’s late December.
