Applewood Golf Course

The staff at Applewood are always so friendly. The course was in good shape. The fairways were very good the greens however were suffering from the heat.

This course was fun, relaxed, and very easy! It was easy for me to score well here (and I’m an average to below average golfer) and that made it more fun for sure. The staff was great and really helpful, so they deserve a great rating even though it’s not the most diverse or flashy course out there. The best part is that you can play 18 holes for $20 on most afternoons in the summer, which makes it well worth the drive out there!

This course is situated just south of Augusta, has some of the nicest staff I’ve encountered. They also offer a punch card that is honored year round(including masters week). Dollar for dollar best I’ve played in this area so far. Highly recommend.

First time here. Matt in the pro shop was awesome. Course was in decent condition better than I thought it was gonna be. Comfortable carts. I usually lose a ball or two but nope not here. Fairways are wide and hard to miss. Will put this in the rotation of course I’ll be at on the regular

My first time at Applewood. Evening tee time on a weekday. Several cars in the lot but never once did I feel pressure from other players. I’m an 18-20 handicap and the course provided a good mix of wide open fairways, some sharp dog legs, and many bunkers to avoid. The gentleman in the pro shop was incredibly friendly. They even give a course booklet if you tell them you haven’t been there before which has info regarding every hole in detail in terms of strategy suggestions, terrain, and tons of yardage information. The course was very well manicured for the most part and only came across a couple greens that had patches of dead grass despite the heat we’ve been experiencing.

The value is incredible and I can’t wait until I have the chance to get back to Applewood.
